Gamestop holding WoW: BC midnight launch

For those who just can't wait to get their hands on World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade expansion, Gamestop will be holding at many locations a midnight launch on Jan. 16 at 12:01AM.Certain stores are planning midnight events that will include "costume contests, card game tournaments, screen-shot character judging, and more! Events will vary by location, check with your local store for more information." Yes, please check before you show up all dressed up -- unless you're into that sort of thing.

My brother is going to be going to the launch event in Bismarck, ND. Personally, I couldn't care less about Burning Crusade, but I think I'll tag along anyway.
See, there's this obscure little lawyer game for the DS that also happens to be releasing on the 16th...

why go to a midnight launch when you cant play it til the next night (if your lucky enough to have a server thats actually up). Midnight launch on a tuesday when its maintenance day... GG

Only problem with this is most GameStops do pre-orders and will sell every one they are getting in on pre-order. So don't plan to try and just walk in and get it at midnight. Call Ahead.

When I went to my local Gamestop, they mentioned it was 12:01am on the 17th, which is a Wednesday. YMMV
