I guess he's got a point. Xbox owners all tend to own a shooter in which they have fun killing something or someone at one time or another. lol /sarcasm

Funny thing is, Lionsgate is a big supporter of Blu-Ray...

Interesting - nice Lionsgate is making nice with MS here, I wonder if it'll lead to HD-DVD support in the near future. Not that downloads and physical media are the same thing in regards to stuff like this, but Lionsgate IS one of the companies strongly rumored to be going from Blu-Ray exclusive to "on the fence," supporting both formats.

Targeted movies are not what MS needs.

If Microsoft wants to really push the 360 as a content distribution box, then they need content that appeals to more than the demographic that *they already sell to*.

Wait-- I just looked up a list of Lion's Gate films. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lions_Gate_Entertainment#List_of_Lionsgate_films)
Looks like this list is actually representative of the movies they make.

Everyone supports Blu-Ray except Universal and Mr. Gates and Co.

Well more content is good. I just would hope more of it is in HD. They added a couple of recent movies a couple of days ago but they weren't in HD. What's the point of that, I can just watch HBO in standard def. More High Def content.

I also wish they would release a game trailer in 1080p. I have a nice set with no 1080p content.

I happen to like the 360, but I have no interest in watching either Saw III or Crank.

No, the funny thing is that Lionsgate is based in Canada but their content won't even be distributed in Canada because the video marketplace is only accessible to customers in the US!

For those that haven't seen it, Ninth Gate is a pretty underrated movie, imo. Worth a rental at the very least.

Maybe HD-DVD is going away to just getting it on the Xbox instead since there's a bunch of crap being released on HD-DVD (like Fireplace HD)?

When will they stop charging a ridiculous amount of money for crappy content that isn't worth half what they ask? Someone should make some intelligent films (available)
