WordPress plugin for Wii, DS, PSP browsing released

Three new plugins have been released aiming to auto-render optimized versions of a WordPress installation for Wii, DS, and PSP while browsing the web. The plugins, dubbed the Ultimate Gamer's Pack, auto detect which internet-enabled device you're using so no configuration is needed. For example, the Wii version allegedly increases text sizes and reduces page widths to or below 800 pixels to avoid side scrolling.

We haven't tested the plugins ourselves to verify their stability (read: if it crashes your install, you're on your own), but for those interested in serving up a WordPress site to gaming devices, have at it.

That was easy... It's up and running and works quite well. I have a 61" TV, so the font size is definitely big, but very readable without scrolling back and forth. Plus, my gallery works well, even with Lightbox JS...

Now I just need to get my last few articles up so that there is actually some content on there.. Thanks for the tip Joystiq!!!

I've been using the Wii version on my site and it works well, but it's not perfect. I'm going to have to mess with it a bit to handle a few things better (when you specify a font size in wordpress, the plugin doesn't change it for better readability. My site is here if you want to see what I mean:

I haven't had any problems reading things with Wii web browser, zoom is infinitely helpful

Still haven't figured out how the hell you fix it after you press 2 and the browser condenses everything to 80 pixels broad

I installed this plugin and tested it today. I have a few screen shots on my site http://wiitod.com. I didnt have any install problems and my site was viewed through my Wii faster and pages reloaded much faster. I give this plugin 2 thumbs up. The plugin reminds me of the initial RSS feed days and the absense of graphic will make any page reload faster.
