Bongfish shows Mac snowboarding game (Macworld Expo)

Bongfish is showing off Stoked Rider at one of the Mac game kiosks at the Macworld Expo. The independent developer already released its snowboarding game on Windows, but the Mac version is expected in about two weeks.
The sandbox-style snowboarding game will be a download title for about $25. Gamers fly in a helicopter over a mountain range, locate a good spot to carve, and jump out. The title is unique on the Mac; few sports games have ever been released. The game will require a G5 or Intel processor.

Wow, finally, something that's not XBOX related...
On Joystiq??? No way!!!

This would be pretty cool if it used the tilt sensor for gameplay. I hope it does, because those graphics don't sell me at $25. Maybe 1996 me, but not the current iteration.

Wow... this game may be 'unique' on the Mac.. but on the PC we call this one crap.

I'm here at MacWorld. The snowboarding game looks like everthing is coated in plastic, not to mention the framerate/animation isn't all that greate.
Tony Hawek Down Hill Jam it is not :)

i also checked this title at macworld and love the graphics. the plastic look mentioned above is true but that's the same with other normalmapped games aswell. the mountainside is quite amazing and the boarding control smooth and responsive, can't wait for this title hitting osx.

They better port this to the Virtual Console fast, because I cannot see this selling more than XBox 360 Japanese units. -,-;
