PS3. You do pay more but you get to wait longer for the same game to come out.

Could that be a slogan?

Finally the PS3 lands a 360 exclusive. This sure balances out the loss of GTA, Assassin's Creed, VF5, etc. Oh wait it doesn't.

I guess fair is fair. The 360 gets Assassins Creed, the PS3 gets Enchanted Arms.

I dont think we'll see to many exclusive games from studios unless the Big three decide to publish the games themselves. The cost of development is shooting through the roof.

@ Rob Holiday
Well, I clearly should trust your opinion since you already hated the game before you started, huh?

In all fairness Enchanted Arms was good but unremarkable just like almost everyone has said. Personally, I liked the story. That said, motion controls can't (in my mind at least) add *anything* to a turn based RPG like this one. I doubt it, but maybe they'll prove me wrong.

Eh, I liked Enchanted Arms it was an easy and fun 1000 Achievement points (just progress through story).

I'm pretty happy they are porting this one to Us ps3, I'll have at least 1 rpg to play in addition to oblivion(I already see the reply oh wait is it also on x360 since a year ago) I know these have been released on x360 but it happens I've got a 20 gig PS3(that I paid on ebay with 3 year extended warranty and shipping for the same price of a x360 premium without extended warranty(Price paid:574$CDN, price of the x360 in canada: 568 taxes included so the PS3 in my case was nearly the same as buying the x360 without extended warranty)).

As someone said most 3rd party will be multiplatform.

I don't care if one of the port is a little better on either platform (i think there was a lot more possible differences in ports from XBOX to PS2)The important thing for me is that I get to play these games. One would argue why buying the PS3, well first and foremost as a cheap (in price) blu ray player, my PS2 an gamecube have a lot games still waiting to be played, my backlog is about 80 games at the moment).

Heh. Funny. I just beat Enchanted Arms yesterday, and just when I thought nobody else cared about it...here it is. It's a good game, although it had poor localization and presentation issues. I'd give it 7/10.

while Enchanted Arms isn't exactly a killer app, this is more important than it sounds. it means Japanese developers are tired of seeing lousy paybacks on their games. it's a waste to put an RPG on the 360 when they make so much more money in japan by putting it on PS3. unless Microsoft owns Mistwalker, i think Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey will Be following suit, just give it time.

English voice acting is horrid.. As long as they keep the original japanese voices I might consider buying it for the PS3

IIRC, MS doesn't own Mistwalker, but, they have been financing the development of their games. So, no; the Mistwalker games won't be going to PS3.

I bet you'll have to shake the controllers (rather than mashing the A button) when those little levitating tile things get stuck. That's the only usage for the motion sensing I can think of.

I thought Enchanted Arms was OK. I liked the story and the interesting selection of golems, but I had to switch to the Japanese voices and I found the game's design to be very linear. It seems like more of a $30-$40 game than a $60 one, though.

The 360 version had both voice tracks on it as well. I would assume you'd know that though if you had played enough to know about the (mostly) bad acting...

It's all about the money, just makes sense to sell a game to the whole gaming market. Let's face it, how many people are going to own both the ps3 and 360 within the next year or two?

So the xbox 360 is losing crap exclusives and the ps3 is losing quality exclusives...

I havent heard of one 360 exclusive going to ps3 that was really great - on the other hand, previously announced exclusives for the ps3 that people might actually want to play in large numbers are losing their exclusivity..

sucks to be sony

Also - Saints Row isnt official, but that wouldnt surprise me since its a (great) knock off of GTA and both consoles are getting GTA on day one...
