That's cool and all, but the real problem with Mac gaming is that I can buy the $60 version made for OS X, or the original WinXP version for a mere $20 just a few yards away from the Mac games. I can play in Boot Camp, and I don't see the point of spending more for something that has been out for a year and can be acquired cheaper on every other platform by the time Mac gets it.

Guys- - - You need to sell Mac games for the price that the Windows competition is selling for NOW, not the price it sold for last year. You're not being competitive, and you sell less because of it.

That's why I don't have many Mac games. That's why I do put all my gaming cash into the Xbox 360 or Nintendo DS. It's a rare game that I'll buy for new-release price.

I bought a Mac Book in the fall, and I'm extremely happy with it. It marked my return to using a Mac after years of being PC only. I have been tempted to replace my desktop PC with a 24" iMac. However, the temptation goes away whenever I read stories like this, or read anything at all about the state of Mac gaming. It's just depressing. The fact that Mac users get excited over paying so much for year old games just adds to the depression.

I have an X-Box 360 and a PS3, but I still love my PC for strategy gaming. However, I'm not convinced that I'd be able to play all of my PC games flawlessly using boot camp or parallels.

I agree with the ZeroCorpse about pricing for Mac games, but I'll pay a little extra just to avoid the hassle of Boot Camp, etc. There's just something much more pleasing about playing a game in the Mac environment. But maybe I'm crazy.

What's not crazy, however, is the inclusion of the Flip4Mac WMV Studio with The Movies. Just getting that utility alone is worth the price of admission. It's an invaluable tool I use at least once a week.

Ross: All I can say is that I play all MY PC games flawlessly using Boot Camp on my MacBook Pro. Don't even bother trying to play games with Parallels until they get hardware accellerated graphics, though. (They say they're working on it).

What you don't realise is this game has more features then the windows version, some that have the windows version are getting the mac version just for those features, though you can't get the expansion on mac yet so it may be worth the windows purchase. but the mac version comes with 720p resolution movie exports, it also have integration with Garage band.
