WRUP: share your love edition

I went in with my brother-in-law and got my sister a pink DS Lite and a copy of "Cooking Mama" for Christmas.

Before the chauvinist comments come out, she *loves* Cooking Mama, and I was just giving her my copy of it so she'd have something that took advantage of the unique DS features.

As I have been enjoying my Onyx DS Lite, I have been getting more and more questions from my wife about it.

-a sign of interest!

She told me she's "in" when it comes out in purple!

I could wait, or I could buy a white one, disassemble it and have it painted.
I'm thinking about it, as it would make a fine gift for the woman who has everything.

Been getting my RPG on, albeit mildly with Lunar: Dragon Song. Also have been losing my taste for the Rolling Stones while playing Elite Beat Agents.

Castlevania, still. I just passed that moment in every Castlevania when you start to think that the castle is disappointingly small, and then all of a sudden you get the first hint of extra modes.

Haven't played much this week, I think I played Touch Detective a few days ago, been playing WoW adn waiting for Phoenix Wright and Burning Crusade to come out (I saved my christmas money ;) ). I have a DS story though, me and my boyfriend were standing in the DS section at Best Buy the week after christmas and two middle aged soccer moms were there...buying games for themselves.. You could tell the one had played for awhile but the other woman had just gotten a DS and didn't like playing the game games as much as those brain things (her words). I didnt think I'd see that until I was a middle aged soccer mom. crazy.

Still loving my Onyx lite and Phoenix Wright, but I haven't been playing them as much due to Twilight Princess being on the Cube, and taking up nearly all of my gaming time.

I shared my love of my newly tricked out DSLite with a guy over in IT. Had to show him my shiny new DS-X and all the sweet apps and homebrew it lets me run. Hooray for DSDoom!

Just Rogue Galaxy Director's Cut and maybe finally beating FFIII for me.

FFIII week 4 or 5

I have a snow day from work, so I am home playing Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! and loving every frustrating minute of it. Took a while to figure out how to navigate through the Japanese menus, but I am now 8 levels in and thankful for icy weather!
BTW, I am getting all my siblings (I have 4) into DS... my brother tried to buy one last weekend, and was told he needed to wait 1 month for the next shipment! (Redmond, WA Best Buy) Other stores told him similar stories....

I've been playing Yoshi's Island DS cause I recently borrowed it from a friend (ironic how I don't own the game yet... my name is metaYOSHI). Elite Beat Agents was the last game I played in multiplayer, but I recently saw a Mario Kart DS LAN party full of noobs (no seriously, they were horrible), and my DS lite was not in my possession at the time, so I did not get to play against them. It was kinda fun just watching them.

Paws N Claws Pet Vet just arrived in the mail from Gamefly. This one was made to rent. Last nite I played Harvest Moon which I hadn't picked up in a while, but went gung ho for a few hours trying to get enough Harvest Sprites so I could finally get married. Once that was accomplished it was back to FFIII.

I got my roommate Horsez for Xmaz. She has a weird issue with it freezing once in a while though on one task, so I think she's mad at me for that ;)

i got the japanese version of phoenix wright II for christmas, so i've been playing that. :)
