Sony did it with the slim PS2 and that was missing a network adapter. Which is more essential to gaming than IPTV...

Either way I'm buying another I had 4 Xbox's by the end of the original XBox lifetime I plan on having 6 360's...

Everybody QUIT YOUR BITCHING!!! When you buy an ipod, you don't complain that a new upgrade came out. When you buy a TV, you do not complain that a better version of it came out. When you buy a computer......bla bla bla. I, for one, am happy Microsoft will upgrade it. Then it can better compete with the ps3 and really seal the deal. Is it annoying I could not get this a year ago? I guess. Would I rather they not upgrade it? Hell no! And I do not expect microsoft to give me a cheaper price either. They are simply upgrading their product line.

What will I do if I want HDMI and a bigger hard drive? I will go to an ebgames, trade in my xbox360, and pay about half price for the new version.

How could an announcement like this anger current 360 owners? When nintendo released their DS Lite, where current DS owners mad? No, they we happy nintendo found flaws in their design and decided to improve them

When you bought your xbox360, you knew exactly what you were buying. Just because Microsoft wants to add another version of their product later on (just like almost every electronics company in existence does with their products) doesn't mean they are not being loyal to their customers.

Yeah, seriously guys. How old is the 360? It's about time they did something new with it besides pumping out more changeable front facias, All the people who wasted 4 days of their lives queing have had the machine for long enough, it's due an upgrade, especially with the PS3 coming in to steal the graphics show, even more so when that piece of junk halves in price when they realise that's the only way they can shift 'em

Yea I don't think theirs any deceit in this ..I mean you knew you were buying an Xbox 360 for the features it had then - of course they're going to make changes. It's like buying an Xbox and then complaining that they're cheating people when they release the 360.

Either way, don't worry at least you didn't buy a PS3 which is just plain crap.

LOL. I love the whining. Seriously. Like someone mentioned, how many iPod versions are there? It's the number one portable music device on the market right now.

Knowing that I don't have to buy a new 360 for IPTV is a great thing. Knowing that a bigger hdd MAY be on the way is exciting - if it doesn't come, it's not going to piss me off either.

The 360 has been out for well over a year now. Changes to the unit are inevitable - MS may or may not respond to market demand.

When I bought my 360 I bought it to play games - not download HD movies and TV Shows or get IPTV. MS is innovative enough to see where the entertainment market is heading and all these new entertainment features they have added are a welcomed bonus.

Just be thankful that MS is adding features to its existing hardware and not releasing revisions every year.

No real reason to buy this, unless it comes with hd drive that will play hd made games. (that means games that are have bigger levels and can support more coop online!
