well define cheap... do you mean cheap as in paying a low price, then no is not cheap. Or do you mean cheap as a piece of crap, then yeah it is cheap.

I'm formulating a rather advanced scientific theorem employing everything from string theory to algebra that there is a direct correlation between penis size and people who do and do not like the name 'Wii'.

When my friend got his wii he decided to call the gamecube a chode. I'm so jealous of his wii.

Everybody thinks Wii is an awful name, but Japan LOVES it. And that's what matters to Nintendo.

I think the PS3 is pretty cheap, considering what you get.

It's a HELL of a lot better value than a Wii for the hardware you get.

(For the record, I have exactly: a 360 and a Wii.)

If it's any consolation the next Nintendo console will be called Nintendo Fire-blast-ninja-sword-tiger. Nothing akward about that, and it caters to an American audience...

C'mon, who hates the name Wii? It's the pun maker's wet dream. And in today's society, all of our headlines and sound bites are almost required to be puns. Free publicity!

@13, PS3 is cheap only if you want all the features.
I, for one, would rather have a basic version that I can add a hard drive and Blu-Ray later on *if* I decide to invest on it. I don't even care if it'll eventually cost me more than $600.
I have a Wii and 360 too. And I've already spent more than $600 on each of them.
As for a PS3, it hasn't even proved its worthiness and you want me to plunge $600 on it? No freaking way.
