I'm a sucker for Halo 3 and already pre-ordered this from Amazon. I've got Amazon prime, so it really only cost me a buck sixty more than this deal.

When I noticed that the advertised product guaranteed me a copy with the beta invite, I was sold. With tax, the full price is $61.31.

I don't think you get a code. The disc itself is the key to the beta. So returning the disc returns your beta invite.

The Poster above must not have read anything about crackdown. It has already been established that you are going to need the actual crackdown disc to get access to the H3 beta. Good deal and google checkout is offering 10 dollars off as well.

the people that write on this blog are SERIOUSLY lacking in common sense -- this is like the third erroneous thing I've read here today; online ordering is not tax free when you live in a state where the store is located... Since Best Buy is pretty much in every state in the whole country except like I don't know F'ing Wyoming or something maybe, the order IS taxed.

Marty,

Unless I'm mistaken: Buy.com is not affiliated with Best Buy, which has its own online outlet, Bestbuy.com.

Marty's version of common sense does not include "reading" or "reasoning"

Crackdown looks crap... They had to include the Halo 3 Beta invite to stop it from bombing.

I STILL CANT FIGURE OUT WHY PEOPLE CONSIDER PS3 MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE 360 (WWW.AMAZON.COM)

XBOX360(PREMIUM):$400
WIRELESS NETWORK ADAPTER:$87.99
2 20GB HDD: $179.98($89.99 each one)
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY PACK: $11.45
XBOX PLAY N CHARGE KIT: $14.82
XBOX HD-DVD PLAYER:$199.92
XBOX LIVE: PRICELESS($57.99 EACH YEAR FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE)

SO THE 360´S PRICE IS......$1242.1(IT WAS $347.94 FOR ABOUT 6 YEARS OF XBOX LIVE CALCULATING THAT THE 360S LIFETIME COULD BE OF 6 YEARS)

SO 360´S $1242.1 AGAINST PS3´S $599 WHO ALREADY INCLUDES ALL THE THINGS MENTIONED ABOVE (AND WE´RE NOT COUNTING THE MS, SD, CF READER, HDMI)

BOTH (AND I SAY BOTH BECAUSE WII IS JUST A GAME CUBE.5) NEXT-GEN CONSOLES ARE ACTUALLY GOOD, AND THATS THE REASON WHY WE´RE ALWAYS FLAMING THE ENEMYS PRODUCT BECAUSE BOTH SIDES KNOWS THAT THEIR PRODUCT GOT FLAWS, BUT THATS WHAT MAKES THIS NEXT-GEN WAR SO BEAUTIFUL. GO SONY¡¡¡(SORRY IM JUST ANOTHER FANBOY :))
