I am looking forward to, and in fact already playing, the title shown in the picture you chose for this article. The best "game" of all winters, ever.

I want to see what the difference in Mario Party will be on the Wii. Plus, I think the 3rd Party Wii titles in March may tell the tale of how well 3rd party support may go over on the the Wii.

Personally I am most excited with the 360's lineup, there are definitely a few titles for the ps3 that I would like to pick up and nothing for the wii in that list that looks interesting to me outside of ssx. Actually, looking at the shots of some of the wii games makes me want to put off buying one until SSB comes out. Nintendo and third party support is killing me and I know the graphics aren't suppose to be on par with the xbox and playstation but some of those reminded me of my 64.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are no PS3 exclusives on the list.

Excellent!

Can we get over this, please

Wii can do more in terms of Hardware than Xbox could dream of (except output in 720p...)

Motorstorm is a PS3 exclusive. Consider yourself corrected.

@mr.Khan

yea it can do cool things like Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. Wait it can't do that. How about games with incredibly complex AI like in oblivion, wait can't do that either. Incredibly detailed textures like in gears of war? No cannot do that either. Procedurally render whole levels like on XBLA titles(which some look on par with wii games), another miss. How about an incredible online service that revolutionizes multi player game play for consoles, nope. I know how much some people love the wii and that's fine but do not pretend that you didn't give up a lot to have the control interface that you have at the price point Nintendo is offering it at. For some people the choice is easy, be it wii, 360 or PS3. It all comes down to preference and I was just stating my opinion, except on the graphics part as that was fact. You however are a lying.

SSX Blur!! Oh man, I'm so psyched for this game. The controls actually look fun instead of gimmicky (although I didn't know that they could make nunchuk controls that specific). Plus, it looks absolutely beautiful.

@Jaysins

What the fuck are you talking about? Have you even seen Resident Evil 4? People are lambasting the Wii for being Gamecube 1.5 as if thats a bad thing but did you know that that they had to cut it down before it can be ported to the PS2? That they had to use prerendered stuff during the cutscenes for the PS2 but used in game footage for the GC? That's how powerful the GC is.

And just for the record, why are you taking words out of MrKhan's mouth? He said the original XBOX, not the 360. Lawl. Talk about being trigger happy.

Has anyone else gotton their new GameInformer yet? I want to know if anyone else is curious about the June 1st release date for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I just want to know if this is real or not.

Man, looking at that list makes me REAL glad I sold my PS3 while I still had the chance. Good lord, it's like a dessert.

There are a few Wii games that look cool, though. Definitely Sonic...I hope.
Bust-a-move, as long as it costs less than $50.
I'll buy Mortal Kombat, probably...and SSX to see what all the hype is about.
And, like Sonic, I'm holding out hope that TMNT doesn't blow.

But where the Hell are all the sports games on Wii?

@Frankie
I assume he meant the 360 but it is definitely more fair to compare the wii hardware wise, with the exception of the controller, to the xbox though I could name quite a few things the original xbox has over the wii. Assuming he was comparing current gen to current gen unlike what you are doing makes sense. This discussion is about the current gen so if he is making references, as your are, about previous tech than you should be more specific. I've heard many people refer to the 360 as the xbox.
I've seen RE4 on the game cube but it is still no where near the effects and visuals of the 360 (360 also has a lot more maturing to do to boot. No game has efficiently used more than 1 core and the gpu and the procedural generation techniques alloted by it's unified architecture are being under utilized as well) not to mention all the other features I listed. I didn't even go onto how it can actually play dvd and is a pretty decent upscaling dvd player at that. The fact that I have to pay $300 dollars for a wii with component cables and the games look as such is a bit disappointing to myself as well as others. I like the control scheme but feel that Nintendo is forcing me to make a lot of sacrifices to do so. For some people they hit the sweet spot but for me they are very far off and I am expressing my disappointment and is warranted for the price of the system. Also, games like zelda show some great art direction and I would be fine if that was at least the standard for 1 gen games, but many of the games imo look worse than the better gamecube titles and I think it is again a bit disheartening for a next gen title. I want to like the wii a lot but am worried I will be stuck with mediocre visuals and 1st part only games. These concerns are valid, it happened before and it could happen again. Don't get so pissy when people have a different opinion. Telling me to "get over it" when I have stated facts and than printing an erroneous statement directed at me isn't very nice now is it. I've gotten way off topic so I'll end with this. SSX tricky looks fun, but it sure as hell better look at least as good as the ps2 version.

Your just imitating me because you want to be me. It's ok I understand. I didn't pull facts out my ass and you can try and disprove me if you want. Not a fanboy but this gen MS is currently catering to my needs the best. Though Nintendo fanboys are starting to get more annoying than Sony and MS ones.
