@ x876543

You are aware that a car will begin to move on its own (ever so slowly) if you put the car in drive and let go of the brakes, yes?

He may very well be tall for his age, but I have a 9 year old brother, and he's pretty big, and I don't see any way in hell that he could possibly drive and look where he's going unless he was *standing* very uncomfortably. As for the airport security, maybe they thought he was a short 12 year old?

If your a bad parent, blame video games, TV, or music. You'll still be a bad parent with a delinquent child, but you'll feel better about yourself.

If a nine year old kid can get through airport security, you know there's a problem.

stereotypically speaking, im guessing his mom was white, and doesnt believe in the 'beat your kids with a belt' system. but seriously... THREE CARS stolen by a 9 YEAR OLD? His mom should go to jail along side him.

...How many kids don't know the basics of driving? There's a gas pedal, a brake, and you turn the wheel to steer. I imagine most parents say that much when children are first curious about cars; there's very little else that they need to know in order to drive.
The kid's definitely smart, though (proly the games ;)). There really should be some institute for the super-genius-smart-something to take these chidlren away from stupid people.

Let's not be so quick to blame bad parenting like it's some quickie excuse we throw out there thinking "oh, that's gotta be it." Parents blaming videogames, videogamers blaming parents. Blame the teachers, blame the school, blame genetics, blame the environment, blame your friends, flame television, etc. Does anyone even ever think about their part in all this. Can we at least check how these parents raise their child before we start raising our pitchforks?

Maybe they should have done something when he STOLE THE FIRST CAR! If I ever have a kid who even thinks about stealing a car, I'd discipline his ass so badly he'd be scared so drive before he was 30.
