You know, I was gonna vote for VG Cats, but that Digital Double comic made me spit out my soda. It gets my vote.

Seifer, I'd have agreed were it handled with more finesse.
My vote goes for the thoroughly awesome VG Cats this time. It describes exactly what I had in mind. "So life is brown and dark, except for the shiny parts? Huh."

This is a tough one. It's so close between VG Cats and F@nboy$.
VG Cats wins, although only by a single, HD Hair.

The digital double comic made me find out that there's a new Harvest Moon title coming out for the Wii - which gets me very very excited.
The VGCats comic, on the other hand, perfectly represents my feelings towards the next generation graphics. It got my vote.

VGCats, Fanboys and Digital Unrest were all very good. I voted DU as I predicted less people would vote for them. I was right of course. VGC always gets all the votes.

I voted for Digital Unrest, which was clearly the best comic this week. Vg Cats sure is exaggerating, most people would agree that more bloom and HDR adds nicely, even if it doesn't help realism. Fanboys was surprisingly not bad. Game Boyz is the worst comic i have ever read, art and dialogue wise, I'm not sure why you keep featuring it.

"Haven't you heard? Real is brown."
I saw that the other day and knew that I was going to vote for it... the Wario one almost changed my mind though.

RDX, I agree.
It seems that with most of these folks, vulgarity = humor. Either that or the American funny bone gets the most giggle out of elementry school kind of jokes like that. 'Tis sad really.

I voted for VG cats, but I felt that he missed something about HD graphics; mainly, the fact that in Next-Gen graphics, all characters have to look like they've been wrapped in cellophane and given two coats of polyurethane varnish.

I really disliked the art style with vgcats this week. Sure the joke is pretty good but I couldn't get over Leo's craptacular look throughout the entire thing. Lines Mr. Scott! Thick Lines!

Jaunty, there were no lines, because that would imply cel shading. Leo was in a "next gen" video game.

I voted DU. That made me LOL.
VG Cats steals memes just as they end being funny.

Wow, no straightforward bashing of VGcats this week?! OMGSPLOSION! I'm genuinely surprised. I agree that the art style of VGcats was not at its best this week, but that didn't defer me from the humor. Next-gen is impressive, but exaggerated at times. Also, I've never really found Tip of the Sword that funny. Perhaps it's because the characters are too "cute" to produce any real hilarity. And, on a final note, I am now deeply disturbed thanks to Double Digital. See you all later, gotta go to a psychiatrist now.

That Digital Double comic was pathetic. Talk about uncreative. They must have watched Kingpin for the first time just the other day. That joke was old 10 years ago but at least Kingpin made it funny.

it CRACKS ME UP every time someone on the vgcats comic does the scream with the trapezoid shaped mouth. scott just has an amazing art style. but i do agree with the comments on leo in this comic, when i first saw it i wasn't sure if it was fan-made or not.

And that entire Bull Milk comic should be the stale joke for the Gameboyz strip. zzzzz

Ok... seriously, stop putting in Tip of the Sword. It's embarrassing.

Brown and Bloom should be outlawed on all nine planets... I mean, eight.
I voted for Digital Unrest, though. Why didn't someone think of that sooner? :)

Game Boyz: The staleness of stale jokes is stale.
Ctrl-Alt-Del: That joke might have worked better if one of the characters didn't already look a game system. Oh wait, no it wouldn't.
Dueling Analogs and Tip of the Sword: They speak the truth, but the truth isn't funny.
Penny Arcade: I'm sorry, they aren't included this week because they didn't produce a video game related comic this week. Instead, we have Tycho carrying a dismembered penis on an airplane.
This is pretty much just a contest between VGCats and F@nboy$ this week.

Wow, every last one of those comics were awful! That's quite unusual. Usually I can find one that is humorous. I suspect that it's because all the people that are doing those comics are off playing Burning Crusade. :)

Why the hell is CAD even included anymore, there was a time when i thought it was funny, but now rather than write comics that parody video games he just now makes long stupid story arches that lead up to a very weak punchline

How come you guys never include PvP? I know it's mostly not a gaming themed comic anymore, but the last couple of strips have been about WoW and it's hardly some obscure comic..

I think the first WoW strip relied on the characters too much for most people here to get it. The second one...? I think it was posted after the wrap-up was posted, now that I'm thinking about it...
Ross is pretty good about including PvP when Scott Kurtz posts a gaming comic.
