I recently picked up my pre-ordered copy of Justice for All and I love the pre-order bonus.
The Phoenix Wright stylus, objection screen cleaner, and strap were nice gifts to us crazy Phoenix Wright fans.

I would love to see this Limited Edition of number 4 over here.
I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Hey Capcom, bring all of the wacky courtroom drama over here.
Preferably in English.

4? Whatever happened to 3? Anyways, I'm not holding my breath waiting for that to come stateside. Hopefully, though, it will be available for import for the truly fanatically Phoenix Wright fans.

@dc
Phoenix Wright is already on its fourth installment in Japan. Here, only 1 and 2 have been ported over, but hopefully 3 and 4 will make it here as well.

I don't know if I would buy this swag. The swag for the US pre-order actually sounded cool, though. I could use an extra stylus.

@4&5
Just in case you don't know, the original games were originally on GBA (and about 4 years ago, for that matter), and then ported to the DS. Capcom USA, of course, only localized these enhanced ports. However, the third game, also made before the DS revitalization of the series, doesn't have a remake. It seems they decided to skip porting 3 and just make a new one for the japanese fans. (interestingly, it means that the only version of 3 came out years before the versions of 1 and 2 we got)
Unfortunately, this creates a problem for the localization team - it would be really wierd to go DS-DS-GBA-DS, and lose features in the middle. It's was stated on the capcom forums (before Justice for All came out) that a localization of 3 was being discussed, but not guaranteed, and depended on several factors, not just sales of PW2 but development resources, etc. I suspect that they will create a DS port just for us in the US, for consistency, which of course would be totally awesome (I know I love my pointer-stylus, and if Capcom keeps showing the love I'll keep shelling out cash) but also means much more development costs than the localization of the first two (which already had an english-language option, even).

To number 4:

According to Wikipedia, 1-3 were on the GBA; 1 and 2 were ported to the DS; 4 is an entirely new game; and 3 was skipped over on the DS.

Not entirely true, Dr. No. :) Gyakuten Saiban 1, 2, and 3 were originally made on the GBA, with 4 headed straight to the DS. GS 1 and 2 have been remade for the DS, with 3 to (I assume) follow in its footsteps if sales permit.

The US so far has the DS remakes of 1 and 2. I'm pretty sure before the US gets 4, we'll get a DS remake of 3 first.

An interview with someone from Capcom (it's on courtrecords) said that they don't plan to release GS4 to US audiences until after GS3. Looks like it'll be a long wait, assuming GS4 isn't going to have dual-language :(

Given that Gyakuten Saiban 1 and 2 on the DS in Japan already included the English language version in the game....I'm highly tempted to score a copy of the limited edition for myself. Seems a fairly reasonable assumption that they'll include the translations again, and it's not like I don't read (some) Japanese anyway.

@6
you just made me incredibly worried :(

I really do hope that this makes it stateside, but I would basically only care about that DVD. Chances are, when its released, we'll be seeing the ISO for this floating around the internet, so we're not totally out of the loop, thanks to the internet.

Chances are, the bonus won't be released here, but I'd like to see it.

And I seriously hope they make the right decision and take the time to develop and release 3 in the US.

I plan on pre-ordering the GS4 limited edition, and if it is confirmed to not have English I will cancel it.

Phoenix Wright is an incredible series. I loved the first game and I'm enjoying the second one very much.

I really hope Japan brings over the third and fourth installments.

Phoenix Wright 3 BETTER had make it state-side! I need a Mia Fey fix. And NOW.

#4 looks less appealing, with the doofy lead character design. *sigh*
