Mark my words, Hotel Dusk is going to be a sleeper hit that will slowly gain momentum more and more over the next few months from word of mouth.

I really really want Hotel Dusk but if I buy it now I'll never finish The Longest Journey (which, by the by, is really freakin' long!). I only have the patience/attention span for one adventure game at a time these days.

"Alien Shooter: Vengeance"

That's the most generic sounding title I've every heard. Why not just it "Computer Violence Game: Shoot!"

Where does everyone go to find what the week's virtual console games are going to be? Nintendo's site still lasts Rtype III and the like from last week.

@#4: There's a danmaku ('bullet hell'/Ikaruga-style) game called 'shoot the bullet.'

My DS Phat is broken (top screen is cracked). Do I send it to Nintendo to get repaired? Or am I stuck buying a new Lite model? Anyone know?

Mal - If it's in warranty Nintendo will fix it for free, minus shipping. If it's out, they'll repair it for $50.

This is a good week for portables. I'll be looking into Pirates! and Hotel Dusk.

Hotel Dusk isn't as good as everyone is making it out to be, just an FYI. It's decent, but nothing that's blowing me away.

Call a customer service rep. They'll send you a label, I think.

Thats how it happened with my Wii.

I want Hotel Dusk, Phoenix Wright 2 and Elite Beat so badly. Unfortunately, I live in the UK, so.. you know.. SCREWED.

It's been ages since a decent DS game got released over here.

", I live in the UK, so.. you know.. SCREWED."

Screwed at the local level, but considering all of the games you've mentioned have been released in the USA, importing them shouldn't be too much of an issue (although I admit to not having a clue as to whether or not that would cost you more than buying a local release).
