@Nitin

It is in response to the "real is brown" motif that has been running rampant across next gen.

The movement to appeal with more pretty colors is being labeled "fluorescent is fun."

No way that this is Mass Effect real box art... it's too lame, with repting things in background. And btw, Mass Effect logo is in shades of blue, not orange... why to change that. 100% Fake

I wouldn't make it look like that and rather focus on the universe. Like have the universe in the background or something. But the evil eyes thing is cool, albeit not original.

And I LOVE the brightness.

For a game with such a great art style, it's a shame the box is so cluttered and ugly.

It's typical over-produced marketing hooey. The rule should be: if it's too small to read/see on the shelf, then it's too busy.

Working with marketing is tricky - often too many chef's in the kitchen ;-)

It's decent enough where it won't hurt the sales...

My God, someone on the same wavelength as I am. You know developers and publishers won't give up the name of the person/company that handles box art.

I'm sure MS had many of those chefs. What's with American marketing when it comes to overproducing things in relation to box art (i.e. Crackdown)? Movie posters are another example.

Oh, go play the Crackdown demo! That is all.

I don't care what the box looks like. Since the game isn't coming out of my 360 once I get it home it won't matter!

(But the box art is good enough.)

Dudes, doesnt the cover remind you all of a certain KOTOR 2. Its like they copied and pasted the cover for KOTOR 2 and just chnaged the pics of teh lead characters...... so much so for originality

yeah, a bit too much on this cover: "look, we've got evil monsters, robots, spaceships and hot chicks!...buy it!" What happened to art for art's sake? A planet with a ship would have been plenty or just the lead character's pissed off face (not as pissed as Sam in Double Agent) but still very cool and tough. Either way...I'm still probably buying this beast of a game.
