Absent from Ubisoft's latest financial report, detailing the publisher's release lineup through March, is the PlayStation 3 version of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. The Xbox 360, PC, and PSP versions of GRAW 2 are each listed. Ubisoft has confirmed with 1UP that the PS3 effort has not been canceled, but simply delayed. A tentative release date has not been given. As for the Xbox 360 version, development seems to be right on schedule. Xbox 360 Fanboy reports that a demo will be deployed to Xbox Live Marketplace in the near future (possibly by the end of the month).

One of the worst games Ubi put out lately was Rainbow Six for the Xbox...can't remember the last part. It was the last Rainbow Six for the Xbox. It was almost an MMO FPS, but many complained it sucked. They took that feedback and made Vegas...pretty damn good upgrade IMO.
Not to add to the EA bashing, but this is the difference between EA and Ubi, while they both do about the same thing to their series in terms of marginally updating franchises, EA does it w/ sports games, and marginal updates to a sports game just don't cut it anymore.

Back to the topic, I'll buy GRAW 2 if it's near as good as GRAW. I sure hope they fix the 'floating jesus' bug where you stand up with your arms out when trying to crawl in prone. It only happened on some levels, but when it did, it made the prone position mostly useless.

Funny how we are spending $60 for games due to higher development costs and increased game development times. It sure seems like they are shipping these sequels out the door as quick (if not quicker) than last generation. So this game will basically be an upgrade of the existing X360 GRAW game. What's the chances we see a price break on this title? Yep, thought so...
Hey I liked GRAW for 360 a lot, and to me $60 or $50...who cares. I just dislike how it seems developers are deceiving the gaming public with this high cost BS.

Anywho, looking forward to this one, enjoyed the first but couldn't really get into the online part of it.

But seriously, I'll rent this, but won't buy it. The single-player of GRAW was a lot of fun but I didn't care for the multiplayer, hence I haven't touched it since I finished the campaign.
Gamefly FTW!

Kidding obviously. Some PS3 fanboy will make some outrageous comment like that of course. There is no bad PS3 news of course its all Joystiqs fault or Kotakus fault for reporting it. PS3 fanboys make me giggle.

Oh, and with regards to the topic at hand, uhm, cool. GRAW was pretty good, but the bar better be raised higher for GRAW2, especially considering the competition: Gears and RS:V.

Sorry, If I do not have the latest NHL players, teams, coaches, uniforms, I will cry. EA and 2K Sports, keep coming out with a new NHL every year, and I will keep giving you my money. As for GRAW 2, I have GRAW, so this will be wait and see.

What makes you think they are deceiving us? Many of these are publicly traded companies, and are legally required to publish their costs.
It's a fact that the development costs for original first-rate 360 or PS3 games are over double that of first-rate PS2 games, but even with the rise in retail price, developers are not taking in double the revenue.
