Kane & Lynch sighted for PS3, PS2, PSP (down under)
According to an Atari Australia release schedule, versions of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men could be headed to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and PSP. Officially, IO Interactive's tactical shooter has only been confirmed for Xbox 360 and PC. Eidos, which owns IO Interactive, is the game's primary publisher (not Atari). What Kane & Lynch is doing on an Atari release list is unclear, but it's possible Atari will publish the title in Australia.Atari recently announced it would be publishing Eidos' Battlestations: Midway in Australia; perhaps another collaboration is in the works for Kane & Lynch. If so, Atari might have let slip the existence of various PlayStation versions of the game. Or, it could just be a typo.

There's no better way to ruin a possible franchise by releasing it exclusively.
For that reason, I believe Kane and Lynch will be a timed exclusive (much like Bioshock will be).

Waaaa...PS3 is suxors...This game better stay exclusive or Kutagari will ruin it...LOUD NOISES!!!
Like that, Sheppy?
I totally forgot about this game. May not be a puchase, but it might be a Gamefly order.
Shooters are my favorite type of game, but I must admit the market is getting saturated by them.

I dont remember the guy in the back having aviator glasses last time i saw this pic. The tape over the guys nose in front doesn't look familiar either, although much more familiar than the glasses seem.

Anyone surprised that another game is going multi-platform? How long before the unconfirmed confirmed rumor that Bioware is developing for the PS3 hits here as well (1up.com). With games going to each platform en mass it will be interesting to see which console gets the best version of the ports.

Uh, this game is being published by EIDOS. Hooray data entry error!
mushiking @ Jan 24th 2007 4:19PM
oh come on, is anyone shocked that an Eidos title is multiplatform? i mean they're nearly bankrupt.

IF IT COMES OUT IN AUS, U.S. PLAYERS CAN IMPORT.
Region free :D.

Just to clarify, all Eidos games are published by Atari in Australia, much like LucasArts games used to be handled by EA and then Activision. So there's no error in the original post, it's just how us Aussies get games when the actual publisher has no, er, publishing foothold here.

That's the biggest Breathe Right I've ever seen. Also, the guy with the glasses looks like Jamie from MythBusters. This is a coop focused game, right? I like those a lot.

At this stage, I'd really be surprised to see a PS2 version.
