Too bad. I rather enjoyed the one episode we got (not to mention the most kick-ass theme song I've heard for a game in quite some time.)

That is too bad. SiN Episode 1 had a ton of replay value IMHO, especially after they added the arena mode. And yeah, the title track rocks.

The first episode was alright. But after I was finished with it there absolutely no desire to play the next episode. So not much of a loss.

This is why episodic content isn't a good thing. Developer moves on, gets bought, goes under, or another scenario, and the game episodes cease to come. Finished games or not.

Let's stick to full games and then an expansion pack or two later.

Aw, I liked SiN Episode 1. I was kinda looking forward to playing more episodes.

No surprise.

As I've ranted relentlessly on BluesNews, Sin Episodes was horribly thought out and terribly arrogant on behalf of the developer.

Yes, it had its moments. But as a whole it was awkward. And the promise of nine episodes was intimidating. Given six months between episode, did this mean we'd have to wait four and a half years to get the full plotline? $180 for it all? Would the engine be changed in a timely manner to keep it current? Would they keep holding weapons and enemies back?

No thanks.

I've never liked Mumbo Jumbo. Back when they first formed as a company they were given development of Myth 3: The Wolf Age. That game was such an insult to the Myth franchise that the fan community has officially excommunicated it from continuity.

Maybe their casual titles will actually be enjoyable. Their track record really doesn't make me cry over this.
