The people who already paid for the map pack should get their money back and the map pack for free. It's not the customer's fault the developer has crappy quality testing/the publisher pressured the developer to release something before it was ready for $$$.

I'm just saying that it would be the right thing to do. Of course they're not going to refund the money to their customers, unless possibly the customers complained enough.

Forgive and forget? Nah. As a wise man once said, "Give in to your anger. With each passing moment you make yourself more my servant. *Evil cackle*"

No. If you forgive crappy quality, they will continue to release crappy quality.

I STILL cant get into a ranked match, and I get into Player Matches 1 out of the 50 or so times that I try to get in.

Mind you every other game on the 360 that I own works fine online, and I have all my ports open etc etc.

This game was a pure rushjob so Activision could milk their franchise some more, which is a shame, since COD is one of my favorite franchises.

The people who bought it should get a refund, but not free maps. Let's give free maps to the bums that don't have jobs or to the people in certain places in the world where it wasn't the middle of the work day.

I think the people who downloaded it need to chill. They made a mistake and the maps will come once it's fixxed.

That said they really do need to address some of the issues of the game. Theer are several problems and a lot more seemed to appear last Thursday when they tried to get the game up. the game seems to be freezing a lot more.

I'm still waiting to see how long "soon" is. They had problems getting this out the door in the first place without a patch - and now you have that certification process to contend with. My guess would be that these fixes were already in progress and they realized an update had to go out anyway for the map pack to work, so it was a good opportunity to release them all together and potentially appease the angry masses. Still, given Activision's track record with QC...

I would love it if they came out tomorrow though - I don't get to play much during the week, so it would be nice to get some games in on the new maps this weekend. Otherwise, I have to wait until next weekend when I'll be more distracted by the Game :)

If they fix the Lobby issues as they said above I will be VERY happy and I might actually drop the 10 bucks for the maps. For anyone who does not know the issue what happens is the lobby fills up and it counts down. About 20% of the time the game will start, the other 80% of the time it dumps everyone back to the main menu. Its very frustrating because once you get into the game its AMAZING and a ton of fun. SO I am more excited about the lobby being fixed...

This news came out the 24th I think. The "very near future" to me isn't "Within 2007". "Very near future" is like a day, two tops and there are still no maps.
