Age of Conan MMO delayed for the "final" time
Developer Funcom dropped in on the official Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures forums to bring news of further delay. Bad news first: the PC version has been pushed back to October 30, 2007. And now the good news: Funcom promises this is the "final launch date." Specific details regarding this latest delay were not disclosed.Age of Conan is currently in closed beta. Funcom is expected to announce details about open beta in the near future. An Xbox 360 version will be released sometime following Age of Conan's debut on PC.

The framerates on the demos have been quite bad. This game does look like it needs some tuning...

i've been really looking forward to this game. It's fine with me that they are taking their time and making sure the game is perfect. I'd really like to be a part of the open beta when it starts.

I'm not ever going to buy anything with Funcom's name on it! After the total crap 'Dreamfall: The longest journey' was! Apart from sounds and visuals, they don't know how to make a proper game.

If by delay you mean make sure its DX10 ready, and by 'An Xbox 360 version will be released sometime following Age of Conan's debut on PC.' you REALLY mean a multiplatform debut on one disc that is playable in your 360 on one side and your Vista PC on the other... You'd be spot on the money.

This is the only other MMO I've had my eye on since it was first shown at E3 and I'm looking forward to the Beta once I can join :) Right now I'm super busy with WoW: TBC so it is good that it has been delayed. Might turn out to be crap who knows but I'd like to at least try it close to it's final release
