In time for what? Would you rather play an incomplete game sooner or a much better game a few months later?

I thought this game would be here in march. meh, at least its coming. I'm really excited for this game. before when I was a PS man, I loved playing GranTourismo. I wonder if this will be better.

in time for their own deadlines, at least...

they ot some excitable project managers that say "itll be done by xxxx" then all the designers groan, work, and push the date back. Get a handle on progress tracking, and don't give out dates, just say its done when its done, and they won't have to worry about it. Bungie understands this... why not MGS?

Id heard dates from 'just after new year' to early april, and its pushed back everytime i check in.

Hmmm...12 tracks. That seems a little on the low side. How many cars are supposed to be featured?

@9 agree with you. 12 seems on the low side. Maybe certain tracks like the "New York" track are large enough to break up to more than the columbus circle to times square run. Say going into the boroughs etc.

There will be 47 tracks that will come from these circuits. There are usually several different configurations of tracks that are used when racing. The first Forza did this also and Gran Turismo I believe does this.

If Microsoft has any sense*, they can make this title a slam dunk by supporting the Logitech DFP and G25 wheels. Since the PS3 allegedly doesn't support force-feedback, I could see legions of PS2 driving sim fanatics running out and buying 360s when Forza 2 drops. This would deal a pretty big blow to the PS3.

*I'm not holding my breath.

"...I've already mentioned on the forums earlier this week, is that with reams of track reference data for much more than just these 12 environments, our track artists will continue to be working and cranking out content even after our game ships. In other words, expect downloadable content in the form of both tracks and cars in the months following FM2's release. Will it be free? We don't know and can't say for sure right now but whatever it ends up becoming, we at Turn 10 aim to do right by the community. Definitely no horse armor here, folks."

Nice jab at Bethesda!

I was hoping for a March release, but the tweaker the better!

I'm HYPED! I expect A LOT, though. Hopefully the many delays will help them make the game PWN Gran Turismo more than it already does.

Am I the only one who seems disappointed by the fact that the tracks appear to be the same as the forza 1 tracks?
