Don't get me wrong, I understand it -- they're not HORRIBLE prices and they want to make a little change off of it, but these games (the non-Zelda, non-RPG/adventure ones in particular) have little in the way of gaming content to justify the price tags.
If they were even just a bit cheaper, you'd probably see a good bit more people buying just to check them out.

How come they don't release a list like this for the US? Instead of signing onto the Shop channel every Monday, why not tell us what's gonna be on there and when? OoT 1200? Geez, I sure hope Mario 3 isn't that much..
At least I have the Gamecube disc (2 actually, the one with the 2 NES games and MM, and the one with Master Quest OoT on it w/ original) There's definitely no need to buy it for that much. I'm sure you can find one of those OoT discs at a gamestop for about the same price.

I won't be picking up Ocarina of Time because I have many versions of that already for the Cube. Where's Shadows of the Empire or Rogue Squadron? Those are N64 games worth getting. :D

I better get Vectorman in February, or there'll be hell to pay.

I want to offer a motion for everyone not to respond to Fred T or TRUTH anymore. They are not speaking to contribute and their opinions are mostly blind, foolish, pretty much BS. Their only purpose is to cause confusion.
All in favor in blacklisting talking to Fred T and TRUTH reply with a "I"

I think the VC is great- but I'll like it a lot more when it starts having games I don't already own.

The biggest problem with Fred T is that he's not all that good at trolling. You need to try easier, my man, just let the goodness roll off your tongue and ride the wave of annoyance all the way to the promised land. Whenever things aren't going your way, just change the subject or go ad hominem. You can do it, I know you can.

Fred T also made a comment that I find rather interesting. He said, "I ain't gonna bend over for this...no way." Now I understand that he won't "bend over" for an OoT download but he doesn't seem at all averse to the idea of "bending over" in and of itself. Out of curiosity, what would Fred T "bend over" for?

Oh well, at least we get Mario Kart 64 on Monday. :) I'm excited for that!

Now if they farmed out games to companies and had them revamp the graphics, yes I would be first in line for most of them. I am not talking about the pathetic double dragon graphical upgrade. I want the graphics redone from the ground up. Super Mario All Stars was a perfect example back in the day.
Its good to see that so many games are being released for the virtual console. I'm just saying I would pay double the price if they included a re-done version, instead of passing on almost all the Virtual Console/XBLA games as it is.
Thats just me though

I don't get it...why are they blowing their Zelda load so quickly? Zelda: TP and Zelda 1 got released together, then Zelda III and OoT is also arriving quickly. Nintendo has so many other franchises...why not bring those first?

As already mentioned, this probably won't transfer to the other Wii Shop Channels. As ALttP hasn't exceeded 800 Points (like it did for Japan), OoT is likely to remain the standard price, too.

5. If only I didn't have the other copies that were free/promotional or extra with other games/nintendo power... Oh well... Due to loyalty I shall just have to get another copy...

Wow, you probably mean spend your parents money. I don't know to many people that work for their own money, and pay the rent that would do something like that.
To each their own I guess. (Shrugs shoulders.) LOL

I'm taking the guess saying while the Zelda TP is getting full attention, they want people to see the original Zelda titles. Which means once Metriod takes off, I'm assuming we'll see the original and Super Metriod (wish it'd be sooner than later). Although it does seem striking that Mariokart 64 came so soon. Maybe the SNES mariokart is being held hostage for Mariokart Wii?

Well, the N64 sold about 32 million units. Ocarina of Time sold around 8 million units.
So not everyone's played the game. :P
It might very well be possible that there are 3.5 million hardcore Nintendo fans that bought a Wii and have also played Ocarina of Time, but I find that a little improbable as well.
And $12 is a huge drop from its original price ($70). :P
Anyways, seriously, I heard that Nintendo reformatted the game to appear better in 480p. I don't know if it's true or not, but if so maybe that has to do with the slight price increase.

Once we get a house, the consoles might have their space on the family room, but for now, they show up on a need to play basis.
