Glad to see Settlers of Catan on there. I'm not a big fan of that game in particular, but hopefully this means that more board games are on the way (Stratego...PLEASE)

I think the whole thing with Assault Heroes MP issues is a reason for 3D Ultra Minigolf NOT to have such issues. I doubt they want to make the same mistakes again.

So does that mean we're going to have a dry period in the interim?

Oh hell yes. The 360 has needed a Strat RPG. I'm totally psyched.

Any chance that Rampart could come to XBLA? Multiplayer would be awesome!

Assault Heroes is FAR from the only title to have multi-player issues on Live. We can cite every Konami title, Street Fighter and DOOM even in that case.

Plus, I have to mention that neither me or any of my friends have yet to have an issue with the game. I know that's not exactly a great sample to prove anything, but still.

I'd hope they'd use the opportunity to fix whatever issues were popping up before anyway. Not to mention, mini-golf isn't exactly going to push as much data around.

I didn't realize that Big Huge Games was developing Catan.

Kind of interesting, given that they're more or less known only for the Rise of Nations/Legends series. I wonder if Ensemble is doing one of the other board game translations.

j/k

Oh yeah! Band of Bugs (formerly Bugs of War) has finally surfaced. I can't wait to play that. Tactics games are right up my alley. Wahoo NinjaBee!

Yeah. It has taken a year to get Paperboy "just right."

Meanwhile, Nintendo releases between 1 and 5 games PER WEEK. Sheesh.

I know MS needs extra time to get stuff like Live functionality and the (in my opinion unneccesary) redrawn graphics for these "classics," but when it comes at the expense of a game being pushed off 8 or even 12 months...is it really worth it?

Of course not. MS is just sitting on these games, letting them trickle out (almost) every week.

Too bad...XBLA was one of the best things XBox Live had up its sleeve, and it has taken a competitor only about 2 months to blow it away.

"Meanwhile, Nintendo releases between 1 and 5 games PER WEEK. Sheesh."

I am so unbelievably tired of this crap.

The nintendo virtual console is emulation. They're releasing UNALTERED OLD GAMES. Anybody could do that. Hell, nintendo could release 10 of them a day for years and not run out.

XBLA is different. Even if you leave aside all the ORIGINAL content on the service, the retro stuff has achievements and leaderboards at the very, very least. Updated graphics (You may or may not like) and multi-player online are pretty common.

Stop, for the love of pete, STOP comparing VC to XBLA.

It's also easier for ninty to emulate its own old programs on the Gamecube 1.5 than it is for MS to code up a whole new emulator that does a very good job running a game like Paperboy. Also, Paperboy 2 is probably the most fun you can have wrecking stuff while on a bike.

If MS wants to take over China and Japan, where is Majong and Go?

Why can't they have at least a classic game once a week? I understand that Live is a big deal, but couldn't a deal be cut where some of the classic games don't have Co-op or Leaderboards? I mean Roboblitz didn't need it, why does Paperboy?

Where's A.P.B.? Am I the only one who remembers that game?
