Single player only according to the comments on the Major's site.

Multiplayer would have been nice but I still can't wait to finish work and download it!

Still doesn't make up for no XBLA release.
Grrr!

Is this exclusive for Gold members so far? I would hate to wait until the weekend to play it.

Fuck! I haven't even played Crackdown yet. My Xbox went in for repair for a broken disc tray, that was two weeks ago. I got my replacement yesterday, it was a brand new one and I was excited. When I took it out the box and heard something rattling inside. I plugged it in anyway, desperate to play some games after two weeks of nothing. Everything worked fine except connecting to XBL. So I can play GoW and what-not but cant get online... so whats the point? After spending an hour on the phone I will be getting another one on rush delivery. To Microsofts defense, the box was kind of beat up by UPS. I just really wanna play the Crackdown demo and now this. This will be my fourth Xbox since launch day, so I do think Microsoft has QA issue. Oh well, at least I haven't had to pay for a single one yet and this new one will have another year of warranty.

Wow, that last post really didn't have anything to do with the story.

Anyway, excited as hell about this demo!

The demo is okay. It's single player, very short. I killed about 10 guys then it ended... (lasted about 10mins at most)

back to the crackdown demo.

@3:

Do you get another year warranty on repaired units? I recently got mine back, and I thought the "reconditioned" ones only carry a 30 day warranty.

It's an ol' GRAW remake. Some of the menu systems are a little different(weapons), but it's mostly the same as the first. I was looking forward to some new graphics but I guess I'll have to look elsewhere.

@6, well that's what I thought but apparently my launch Xbox is still getting repaired/replaced now. When I talked to them they said that the "reconditioned" was actually a brand new one. Then when going through the phone call they actually had no knowledge of what unit they had sent me, in other words I had to register the serial number to my name. If they know that little about what they send out it wouldn't surprise me if one couldn't get full warranty for it. Yea, this had nothing to do with GRAW2, I just had to vent my frustration.

Yeah, the frustration is understandable - I was just ribbing ya.
