Hell with it. The Crackdown demo was impressive enough that I have no problem buying the game, I'll take my invite that way.

I have a copy of Splinter Cell DA that I havent opened yet.... so tempted to trade it for Crackdown. Dont get me wrong I thought the Crackdown demo was pretty cool but the halo 3 beta pretty much seals the deal.

Hahaha, I don't know what's more unbearable, 3 hours of Halo 2's joke of a multiplayer, or Crackdown.

Like Jonah said, I'm also more interested in the single player. Logged a lot more hours playing co-op on Halo and Halo 2. If they decide to leave online co-op out AGAIN, I swear I don't think I'll even buy it.

Why has the beta invites for halo 3 been so US and Canada orientated. First the standard invites on halo3.com was only open to residents in the US and Canada now they have this additional way to 'sign up' which again the terms are "open to US and Canadian residents (age 17 and older) who have a 360 console with hard drive, a valid Xbox Live Gold subscription, and a copy of Halo 2". Have I been wrong in thinking that no one plays Halo 2 on live over here in the UK?

The only way I have seen to get a beta invite has been going to some UK gaming blog and answer some severely obvious questions about the halo game, since obviously gamers who want an invite are not going to know what a Mongoose is.

I'll be buying Crackdown, but not just for the sole reason of the halo 3 beta. (Well maybe prior playing the demo).

For once i agree with Knopp182, when are we Brits going to get some fair play with games, why are we the ones who have to miss out on the betas and also wait weeks or months for games to be released here while america gets to enjoy them?
