(Tecmo) Super Bowl XLI

BBPS has produced an amusing mockery of this coming Sunday's big game -- you know, Super Bowl XLI. No doubt the obligatory 'Madden prediction' is on its way, but for now, let Tecmo Super Bowl tell the tale: 28-24, Bears over Colts. Jim Harbaugh FTW!

I remember using NHL 2002 and NHL 2K to predict the Canada vs USA 2002 Olympic gold medal game. USA beat Canada virtually every time in both games, with scores of about 4-2 or 5-2. Which is of course wrong as Canada won 5-2. Maybe the games just got the teams mixed up :)

Good to see the Bears win something and someone picking them other then all of Chicago and probably my lonesem self. Also good to see Tecmo Super Bowl back in the spotlight, man I want to play that now. Gotta find my original nintendo now. Thanks joystiq for ruining my life

The Bears are unstoppable in Tecmo Super Bowl. The fact that the margin was so close only indicates that the person playing as the Colts was pretty fucking good. Usually it's a landslide on that matchup.

Shit yeah! This is the next title they need to release for the Wii's Virtual Console. In fact, they should have thought about the super bowl and had this ready in time. Damn.

My favorite line "Blasphemous Bill Brooks" had me chuckling though the entire game. I even enjoyed the Keith Jackson-esque voice over and metaphors. Get this guy in the booth for Monday Nights along with Kornheiser!
