Swim. Eat. flOw.
flOw's migration onto PlayStation 3 has been a slow evolutionary process. But as promised, Sony has delivered the game trailer (above) to PlayStation Store on time, suggesting that flOw itself is also on course; now set to arrive near the end of the month. Is it time to start considering Sony's service as a viable player in the downloadable (casual) games space? Or do we wait for Calling All Cars?

What exactly the hell took so long? It's not like there's anything that needs heavy optimization.

Not really.
A retarded person isn't able to comprehend the concept of being retarded. They don't know there is anything wrong with themself.

Does anybody else think the look, sound, and whole vibe of this game are exactly that of Elektroplankton? It's almost as if they decided "Let's make Elektroplankton... but with a goal!"

Its different from it.
HOWEVER.... it's still a generally boring game.

Just don't assume something is easy because someone else is doing the work. Even other software designers could make that wrong assumption sometimes, and it's good to take a step back and realize that if it was as easy as you think it is, they really would be done with it.

On the trailer specifically: by coincidence, a YouTube clip from ATHF was loading in another tab, and started playing right as the "flOw" logo came up... it took me a few seconds to realize that "Typical filthy humans! You have no respect for us trees!" wasn't part of the trailer... it just fit in so well...

Uh ... no. First of all, Flow isn't a popular flash game; it's a semi-popular flash toy. Second, this is not the sort of game that benefits much (or at all) from HD graphics. Third, the reason that people shit on it is because some fanboys are proclaiming it as the game that will validate the PSN and give XBL a run for it's money. There is no chance in hell that it will do that. If you hype up a game like that, it's no wonder that people are going to say "Yeah, it's not that good." Fourth, the game is already available for free on the web. It doesn't really matter much what they do to improve it, because it was something that started out free - it will never lose that stigma, especially since you can link it directly.

Oh come on, that's like saying the XBOX 360 is a nice shade of white... but is that shade of white worth $500? OF COURSE NOT!!! Noooo one is buying the PS3 JUST to play this game. No one feature or game is for any system EVER is worth the entire cost of the system. Thanks though for your input.

This would've been perfect for the Wii. I wish Nintendo would get off their butts and let small developers start making games for the Virtual Console.

Sorry, I was just reliving the last time I played that game.
