So, sony finally decided to market the PS3 to a demographic that could afford it: rich opera goers.

To bad the software lineup those people would like are only available on a competitors console.

Are sony fucking stupid? If its learning tools and games appealing to classical music fans, even a diehard ps3 fanboy will tell you theyre barking up the wrong tree. DS and Wii have got it more than covered.

Sony should stick with what they know: High resolution boastable bloodfests aimed at ages 12-16. And generally stop trying to be the other guy, even if his is richer and more handsome and successful.

"I say, good chap... these explosions in MotorStorm are eerily reminiscent of the papal staff scene from Act III of Tannhauser!"

I personally love the theatre. I read allot, I go to art galleries, I even take the occasional college course at the local University . I also happen to love video games.
Not everyone who plays video games lives in a roach infested trailer drinking beer, smoken dope, and jacking of to the WWF. (See I can stereotype video game players too.)

I can hear Sony say "Take that Nintendo. Who's expanding the video games market now?"

Somehow, I don't think that a lover of "Pagliacci" is going to be impressed by Devil May Cry 4. "Ah, the pathos!"

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you're in the minority - reading excluded, which by the way you may want to invest more time doing considering the misuse of 'allot'.

Jokes.

Seriously though, I can see where Sony is trying to go with this but I just don't see it paying off.
