umm wow. I think it looks impressive.

Is this game going to get picked up by someone? It's got a lot of potential. And the 360 needs stuff like this.

It looks like a techdemo more than anything. With that said, it shows some potential.

@5

Its like youre saying that being that its a small arcade type game, excuses it from needing a direction.

I just want to know more is all.

Am I flying the thing around in free space? a a series of tunnels? an arena? is it multiplayer?
somthing. some clue.

You cant just show bits of somthing and have people guess what the intentions are.

it wasnt a dig at the game, it was the truth.
the only thing really exciting at this point is the model. yes I understand that its a its only one month in development, and its not a triple A title.

but I still cant be impressed by pink diamons moving around a void.

@7: Are you serious? It obviously wasn't meant to show off a deep storyline or gameplay at this point in time. It was to show off what XNA is capable of.

Yes, you can ask for direction all you want. But why whine about something that's trying to show the capabilities of a product that most people consider to be inferior to what's available?

The very fact that there's this much after one month in development is simply amazing, and a testament to XNA. If you weren't impressed by this, you'd crap a brick when you see where AAA titles are after a month in development. Certainly not this far along!

@6: Nice try to imitate South Park and completely ignore my point. Never implied anything remotely like that, but I'll give you an "B-" for the effort.

dont have an aneurysm.

I'm not asking for all that.
Im just asking for a simple explaination on the intentions of this game so then I could see where the things Im seeing in the demonstration would be applied.

thats all.

To those complaining, or looking for some more details, Check out The other YouTube Video, gives you a better idea:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50QSfNwjXlg&eurl=

What can be inferred?
-This is a Free-Space SHMUP, by the looks of it.
-Place holder geometry (other than what is most likely the missiles) has real Physics, moving and bouncing when shot or dropped.
- Placeholder Geometry can be shot at/destroyed, which means they're probably going to be Enemies/ships/whatever.
-While the only textures are the (impressive) ship and the (even more impressive) water.

It's safe to say that if this level of quality and detail is continued through with the rest of the models, it may end up being a AAA Budget title, and the first hot off the XNA presses. This excites me, it's what XNA was designed for, I'm seriously hoping for some additional footage as production continues, and, hopefully, eventually see it on a DVD or Arcade Game.

Three Cheers for XNA!

Finialy people are on board the XNA, i have been saying this for months, XNA is the future of the 360, imagine a community with hundreds of these downloadable games, all for only $99 a year.

Sony's solution? a crappy port of linux with all the 3d hardware support removed... yea great idea. this is just another reason why 360 is so far ahead of the ps3 from top to bottom.
