We've said it before and we'll say it again: of all the gaming magazines that pollute the public, we'd like to trust Famitsu the most. Japanese, yes, but very well-respected. Created and distributed (might be the wrong term) by Enterbrain, its opinion is regarded highly among many in the industry. With recent news of the Wii outselling the PS3 4-to-1 and the PS2 scratching out more sales than its supposed heir, Enterbrain and Famitsu President Hirokazu Hamamura had this to say regarding the PS3: "There could be a price cut for the PS3 by the end of the year, and more software titles will hit the market. I expect the PS3 to be doing better after a while. Of course, the Wii will keep running ahead all the while." True enough. Hopefully third-party developers will stay on board the Wii-ship, or else expect Mario Party to quickly pass Final Fantasy in sequels.
