Wii Power Gloves? Nope.
What's more useless: plastic shove-on attachments or boxing gloves with Wiimote pockets? We suppose those attachments are, but these 'un-official' Wii boxing gloves rank among the lamest of 3rd-party peripherals.Maybe if you have a tendency to fling your Wiimote the gloves are $22 well spent; then again, Wii Sports' boxing requires players to hold the Wiimote vertically. You won't be punching with these gloves on; you'll be knocking on doors. Awkward.

Ya know, I was actually thinking of trying to find something like this... except maybe a bit larger so it actually looks like a professional pair of boxing gloves.

Completely lame. There really isn't much else to say except you'd be better off buying a sac of turds, lighting it on fire, then placing at your own door and stomping it out.

Why is it that you have to be "knocking on doors"? Is there some reason they can't build the gloves such that you can hold your hands normally and the Wii detects it like the wiimote is being held vertically?
In which case, I wouldn't think these were so dumb. I think it would be kind of cool to play boxing on the Wii without having to grip the wiimote in your hands. Just put on the gloves and box as you would in real life. :)

And as I suspected, the Wii accessories begin to descend into the absurd. Power Glove, indeed.
