Wow, Cooking Mama is already out?

Hopefully it's translated soon and brought over here... for $30.

I can't see myself spending full price on this one =/

Wow.

A PS3 game will actually crack the top 10 software list next week in Japan.

Hell, the PS3 might see its best week of sales, ever.

Does anybody know how much Cooking Mama costs in either Japan or the U.S.? I want to know if it's cheaper than most, like the DS game was.

Perplex City season two comes out on March 1. That has nothing to do with video games, though. Why would anything for the PS3 come out on a Thursday?

Cooking Mama is coming out in the US a jam packed month of wii releases. The month of March is looking to drain Wii owners wallets.

In the meantime you got some of the following to consider.

Wii play is the 11th Feb for the United States. Get it for an extra wiimote. The minigames are about ten bucks if you subtract the wiimote.

The non shitty looking Sonic will be on the 18th.

SSX Blur is the 27th.

Mario Party is the 5th of March.

Geez. Sony and Nintendo about to clean up. In all fairness, Crackdown should get some publicity as well, mostly because it comes free with a Halo 3 beta purchase.

Hey, I kid because I love ;)

Can someone give me conclusive evidence of when Cooking Mama will be released in the US? Amazon has it listed for April 15, Gamespot has March 20, 1up has March 12.

I had heard a rumour that Atlas was bringing Luminous Arc stateside. Can anyone confirm that. The only reason I'm really interested in the game is becuase Yasunori Mitsuda is composing for the game. In any event it would be nice to have another DS strategy RPG.

Just so some of you don't end up disappointed next week, the VF series in Japan is not a huge seller anymore (if it ever was - I think the most it ever sold was around 1.5 million for VF2). Virtua Fighter 4 sold 541,000 units in all of 2002 on the PS2.

Look for VF5 to crack the top 10 and look for a bump in PS3 sales, but I don't see Sony "cleaning up" with this release. They might sell 20,000 or so more PS3's than the week previous.
