Crackdown the world over
Sometimes the best Photoshop work is the simplest and most subtle. Flickr user Agent G has "scoured the earth" and unearthed agility orbs at world's greatest architecture. (There's two at Easter Island waiting for you.) Also revealed were Secret Orbs that developer Realtime Worlds have placed in the most inconspicuous of locations, from Viva Pinata all the way to old episodes of Knight Rider.
If Halo 3 was not advertising enough for this game, perhaps Microsoft Games Studio might think of a clever television marketing campaign based on this Flickr gallery.

I thought this was talking about a world launch!

Oh no! BOMBS!

Crackdown is HOT and it does not need Halo 3 as a marketing ploy. I am waiting impatiently, for this game.

Unfortunately, I thought that the Crackdown demo was kinda bad. The graphics were horrible (like a hi-res Xbox 1 game), and the gameplay just wasn't that fun. The only thing I can say was good about it was the controls were pretty tight and felt good. Maybe it's just the demo.

ZOMG 3 Days!
if your such the internet news afficianado, maybe you should contribute and keep joystiq "up to date".
well those are nifty pics, but shouldn't those higher up ones be worth more? lol

I agree with airintake, the graphics on the crackdown demo are last-gen, But at the same time, the entire map (city) is loaded all at once, with zero seams, so the trade-off was probably made (instead of constant loading and super-awesome graphics). Personally I would have preferred the super awesome graphics. This game would have been better had it been created with Unreal 3 instead of Havok.
I don't know how Crackdown keeps getting so much press, but the same argument still remains; If I don't get into the halo 3 beta through the rule of 3 program (Invites for that go out next week, after last weeks signups) I will buy the game. If I don't, I will rent it (and just like Lost Planet, I will finish it during the rental period)
Oh and don't buy lost planet. Horrible game. Ugh

7: I dunno, man... Crackdown looks pretty damn awesome to me. Big explosions, a sprawling city, and dozens of thugs to mow down with a machine gun... who could ask for anything more? Aside from you, I mean.
I like this game. I like it more than I would a demo of Halo 3, that's for sure. There's nothing like leaping from roof to roof, beating the tar out of thugs and throwing everything from propane tanks to mini-vans at your enemies.

Yeah, but I've already mowed down tons of gang members with a machine gun playing Scarface, so that's getting a bit old for me :)
