I am using a black DS Lite. I love the color, but the fingerprints it gets are annoying. I also have an old silver DS Phat.I would have rather had a blue or black one of those, but I got it right after launch.

I love my Onyx DS Lite too, but it does tend to show the prints.
My wife told me she's on board when they come out in purple.

My dream 'color' would be a clear system. I absolutely loved my clear Game Boy. It was so cool being able to see all the wires and chips, etc. Nintendo made tinted-clear GBC's and GBA's, but they never made a true clear system again.

I've got white. Sure, color is nice, and black is cool, but white is alright. I much prefer the white (as a launch color) to the silver of the original DS Phat.

Black DS lite. Black is the true color of electronics, back in the day when "style" was immediately equated to functionality, and the color itself exuded business. Now, white is moving in as a pacifying, loving color that has ZERO attitude... Read: no balls.

i can get a matte black, yellow, clear, clear-blue, blue, white, and for an extra cost, Chrome ds replacement cases at www.NDS-Central.com

it comes with replacement insside cover, and outside, and buttons.
but all the buttons are clear.
except L and R, which are the color of the case.
they are also going to be carrying wii/wiimote/nunchuck replacement cases also!!

I have a classic blue DS Phat. If there was a color I would like to see, it would be Orange. Dunno why. I am a big Mac user though too so the classic white DS lite would fit all of my gear.

I'm using an enamel navy blue ds lite. I love the color, but I hate the fact that companies like using smudge attracting silky smooth plastic nowadays. If I had to buy another DS Lite, I'd get the Ice Blue color.

i waited 2 and a half months for the black ds lites to come back in stock so that i could have a black one... it arrives tomorrow... i'm not worried about fingerprints because my glasses necessitate that i carry a cleaning cloth with me wherever i go... i use it on my blackberry pearl as well which really shows the prints... so it's just one more thing to wipe down...
if i had my druthers, however, i'd get a metallic grey or gunmetal grey ds lite... i really like greyish/silver electronic stuff... i realize there's a DS phat in that color, but i don't really want a ds phat
if there was one, i might be into a castlevania SE ds lite... it's the only series i'm actually tied to, and there could be some cool things you could do with the graphics and coloring i think... but i'm very happy to be getting the black one tomorrow, so that will do for now

I have a Black DS Lite but I really wanted to get the enamel navy color, but I didn't want to import since for the extra cost I could get a game. My friend actually bought the enamel navy last summer and was without a game until this last christmas, when he got FF3. Enamel Navy>*, and I hope the Wii comes in that color at some point too.

I am ROCKING the plain silver DS. I'd probably go for the black Lite if I re-purchased, although I always liked that charcoal black DS they released in Japan.

This might seem a little too much for some folks, but ever since getting my zune, I'd like to have a Brown DS with a Translucent Green over it. I currently have a Black DS that I cherish, but Brown and Translucent Green is just so.... Anti norm. I love it. it stands out and defines itself (not that the DS could define itself even more than being the top selling portable on the market).
Maybe a shell will come out for it in those colors.

In my past, I had a silver Phat (it broke), a cobalt phat (sold it to get my lite), and a white lite. I'd want a black lite, but it ain't worth the money :P

I have a snow white and my brothe onyx. Nintendo should offer u a customized one in this manner. Go to the website and order a ds. Then you would get the chance to customize it (like an ipod) with designs and maybe even different colors for like 50 bucks more, I would do that.

In the end it's a pretty superficial thing... If/When I get a Lite, I'm not sure what colour i'll go for... White doesn't really appeal too much, as I've never bought into the iWank style very much.
The fingerprints on a black one would annoy me, and other colours seem a bit gaudy... Might look into the custom colours linked above!
