I don't care much. But the games should be priced similarly if they're going to do this down the road anyway. That's what's wrong, IMHO. To charge $50 for the game on the PSP and then $20 for a "better" game on the PS2.

I think to make ammends they should port Bully to the PSP so I can play it. :)

Preston Crawford:
Im 100% with you.The price thing is not cool.

Anyway i have never bought a GTA game but 20$ sounds fair. But my next game is KILLZONE LIBERATION because it simply OWNS.

Now lets hear it from pathetic Emo fanboys why this doesnt bother them *Cought pixelator cought*.

The Emo PSP fanboys are worst than the PSP bashing fakeboys.

PSP owners pay more to get less? That is a bit different - normally we pay $10 less for a whole lot less content ... either way, I've paid $50 for far worse games than VCS ...

This just makes sure I won't purchase any other games from rockstar for my psp till they hit the bargain bin. It's a shame the chose to continue the trend and alienate customers that would have proven very loyal otherwise.

why did they even port lcs? it sold really well for a handheld with such a small userbase, I mean it sold like over a million, what was the point of porting it to the ps2 after that?

Ugghh...this kind of behavior by Sony (and Rockstar) are what's going to cause the downfall of the PSP. Why not just release both of them at the same time for $20? Since the game engine is already made all they really need to do is animate it and record the voiceovers.

Re #9. "The moral of the story is.... Dont buy a psp"

I disagree - I think that the moral of the story is not to pay $50 for any PSP game EVER again. And, if you feel screwed by the fact that VCS dropped $20 after 2 months of release (which is not common on *any* platform unless it is a real bad seller), then retaliate with your wallet.

the only way rockstar can redeem the alreayd stale and repetitive gta series is if they make gta4 or 5 like morrowind or the second elder scrolls but in a gta world. Meaning if they make it that big, that open ended, that long to complete, with so much extras and things to find and side missions that youll never run out of things to do. only than will the series revive.

" In the DVD industry, this kind of practice is called "double dipping" and it absolutely sucks. "

Andrew, you sound like a f'n wining, backwards-ass fanboy! Go cry to your DS!! Sony's figured out a way to milk another cow; get over it! The game still sells because people love GTA, the series. But how do you justify giving the same game a different title simply by putting a different dog on the cover?? Now that's a rip off!! But you'd probably think that virtual pets are too cute 'n cuddly to criticize, right? aaawwwwwwe, GTA too ruff, ruff for ya?!!
