INCREDIBLE~! I'm severely anticipating this game more than most other retail games, Halo 3 included. I love my games creepy, supernatural and spooky like Silent Hill..this hyperrealism is stunning from these pics and previous ones i've seen!

Hey I really hope it's like Indigo Prophecy. I don't know any other games that really told a story like that. The screenshots look beautiful, I just hope it meshes together to be another sucessful game that sticks it to Sony's
arrogant ways. X360 FTW!!

Along with everyone else, I'm really stoked about this game. I'm so glad Remedy decided to put it on 360 also. I saw a video for it on PC, and to get the "full" potential of it, they "recommended" a PC with a quad-core processor and DirectX10 graphics card. I'm sure a $5000 PC will have better graphics with all the new bells and whistles, but you know, that much money vs a $300-$400 Xbox 360 (and still looking incredibly amazing on 360 BTW) is a no-brainer.

I agree that the shots don't look so good so tiny, but once the game is moving, its beautiful. Plus, Sam Lake rocks my world. I'm looking forward to more melancholy, angst and dread from the only good writer in the videogame business. Bless you, sir, you'll always be Max Payne to me.

Anyone else think that Alan Wake resembles Christian Bale?

1. Click read link
2. Click on the first picture (It's bigger there)
3. Now if you tell me that it doesn't look awesome, you're a liar. Just look at those trees and grass etc.

I agree with Jack the Ripper - when you take into account how huge the game environment is, the screens are pretty amazing. If you didn't see the DirectX 10 demo video, give it a look - the 'zoom' distance and persistent world weather effects are pretty phenomenal...

I too get a very donnie darko feeling from this game, and honestly i'm really digging it. But for some reason all the screenshots and the name and concept just seem very donnie darko. I hope they can pull this game off, and if the story is as great as they're hyping it up to be it will truly be a great game.
