New games this week

Well, if you're not down with Kirby's Adventure or Kid Icarus on Wii's VC, there are several new titles out this week for most platforms. The Wii finally gets some light weight party gaming in Wii Play (free Wiimote included) after a slew of hard core and complex single-player games, Rachet & Clank: Size Matters hits the PSP, and Ghost Rider graces the PS2, PSP, and GBA. There's also a nice little variety of PC games out. Here's the full list of titles hitting store shelves this week:

Strangler, I have the Japanese version, it was only $10 at Play-Asia not so long ago. I have yet to find intentional pantyshots.

WiiPlay is a ripoff. Last new title couple of weeks ago. Nothing new from VC. PS3 is the same old nothing with a Tekken Resurrection DL coming soon. Xbox 360 has about 3 new titles along with their weekly release of XBL Arcade tiltles. Yeah, we're definitely in a drought alright.

"Wii Play (free Wiimote included)"

Its not free at all. If this $hit retails for $50 WITHOUT the Wiimote then thats ridiculous. Its more like "Buy a Wiimote and get a $5 game free"

Why all the focus on this trash anyway? The BIG release this week is Ratchet and Clank: Size matters.... but oh look! its on PSP, so of course its relegated to the corner.

Up to now the Wii is uninspiring. The only game worth playing is Zelda and that plays better on the Cube in my opinion with traditional controls. The rest of the games are either pitiful (all that trash UBIsoft released) or fun for about an hour then thats it.... boring.

And yes, its the same for PS3, the only good game is Resistance... but I don't get how Sony get a slap and Nintendo keep on getting their asses licked. Both Wii and PS3 are SHIT right now. So concentrate on the good stuff, Blake. And the rest of Joystiq crew + F5 pressing minions. WAKE UP!
