I'm feeling agility, considering it helps a ton with getting around the city. Firearms is probably the most useful though.

"Speaking of, which attributes do you plan on power leveling, if any?"

Strength. I enjoy one hit kills and tossing things around.

I'm with Jonah, strength if is for me. Quick and amusing way to kill the bad guys.

I must say, I've had this game for almost a week now (I'm a Canadian citizen living in Bangkok, and I took the liberty of buying a modded 360 unit), and I'm addicted to it! Enjoy, once you guys get it stateside!

since the full game progresses much slower in levelling up, i doub't i'll concentrate on any one thing.

besides, if you shoot a guy a couple of times without killing him, then kick him to death, you get XP for both firearms AND strength.

at least, that's what it seemed like in the demo. i could be wrong though. maybe i'm remembering incorrectly, but it seemed like when i would kill a guy that way, it would give me the yellow(strength) and turquoise(firearms) mini-orbs.

can anyone confirm?

I played about 2 minutes of this demo and thought it was OK. This weekend my nephews came over and they played the demo many times till the time expired. Watching them play, I realized this game is going to be better than I expected. I even pre-ordered the game, and not for the Halo 3 Beta.

i also found the demo to be quite fun, and will now buy the game. I did not pre-order like a moron tho.... as they dont sell out of games in todays day and age (they used to back in the n64 days). Ill just walk into a store and buy it launch date, and whichever store offers the best promotion (what you get free with it, they always do something for new popular games), will get my bussiness.

driving is the most boring. i definitely would not start with that one. agility and strength were by far the most useful in the demo, but explosives is oh so fun to get and use >=)

I'm starting with Agility for sure. It makes a fast getaway so much easier. I've also noticed in the demo that if you don't kill any bosses, no guys spawn on the roofs which means you can collect orbs in peace.

With the attributes levelling up much slower its going to be funny watching people who are used to bounding tall buildings in a single leap struggle to grasp the nearest window ledge.

strenght for sure...each level of strength gives u an extra level of health...so u can duke it out longer...and when u jump from really high up it doesnt hurt that much.

cant wait to do the achievements tho...those are gonna be fun. :D

I'd level up everything, but Explosives and Firearms first. I played the demo twice again last night and actually, when you try to ignore the Agility Orbs as much as possible( tough but possible), it becomes a pretty sweet 'what if' Super Robocop type game :)

Eh, I really don't think this game has much to offer- the demo is pretty much a condensed version of the full game so I already derived all the fun of maxing out there, and I'll bet the other two ganglands (the only content not in the demo) won't be much different. The core gameplay elements of shooting and driving aren't very entertaining (lock on and hold a button to shoot, only Agency cars are worth driving), and it just lacks the variety and depth of a GTA, where you actually feel a part of the city; people interact with you, you can do side-quests, level-up, collect cars, find hidden items, etc.
Bleh, had to vent on the hype somewhere

You can gain even more EXP if you shoot and kick while in the air, the EXP system for crackdown promotes GTA stylized crazyness,

IE blow up a ton of cars with a demo charge thrown while flying through the air sniping guys around you, will give you boost in your stats in all area,

crackdown is the type of game which at first seems simple and just a GTA clone, but the combination of stat upgrades and their effects on the environment make it better,

crackdown is GTA(world)/Mavel alliance(stats)/and Mercenaires(gunplay) all roled into one.

added the beta to this just is the icing on the cake.

Agility, Firearms, Strength, Explosives, Driving in that order for me.

Am I the only guy who has a mancrush on the dude who does the voiceovers? "Skills for kills, agent, skills for kills..." :)

I was watching this thinking "Wow this guy is wasting a TON of available game time just standing around looking at himself and the sky"...but then I realized "duh, this isn't the demo dumbacre...he can stand there and look at his crotch all he wants" didn't see much that I didn't already see in the demo anyway.

AGILITY, so much fun jumping around like crazy, plus you run faster, and since the driving side is the only part of the game that I dont like, running faster is a must to get around
