Although, I agree with this package being complete crap, I do think it's interesting that companies you never dreamed of getting into the gaming market.

You're missing the point. These attachments allow you to play ACTUAL sports with your Wii remote. This takes video sports off of the screen and into your home

Oh, and you can navigate the Wii Sports menu with the D-pad.

If companies are gonna capatalize on Wii accessories, may as well have more competition. Better for the consumers to fulfill their niche needs

You don't need to point to navigate the menus in wii sports. Menu navigation by D-pad is completely possible (once you've passed the Wii channels menu - that, inexplicably, requires pointing).

I will say though its kind of cool that an established company like Nerf is saying, "How can we get a piece of that?" A little different then some no name company saying it. Shows the Nintendo brand is carrying some weight again.

Yeah, no gamer likes to look like a doofus.

Hell, the word "doofus" was practically invented to describe us. If we were social, athletic and coordinated (aka not looking like a doofus), we'd be out playing *actual* sports wouldn't we?

Personally, I think those props are cool--hell, how is swinging one of those around any different from swinging a toy lightsaber around? And don't tell me every single one of you hasn't enjoyed doing that at least once in your life.

Of all of these lame sports packs, this is clearly the best.

It's NERF. That makes it awesome.
