Video: Zune Wireless Remote Works with Xbox 360
Zune Insider has a video showing how the Zune's remote works with your Xbox 360, and we bet you couldn't guess that from the title. Seems pretty simple, and the remote is definitely less clunky than the Media Remote (Shorty or Universal). In any case, if any of you made the decision to get yourself a Zune to join the "3 days/3 plays" revolution, at least you can use the peripherals with your Xbox 360. Seriously, do any of you have Zunes?

I got a Zune for Christmas. It wasn't my first choice but not disappointed at all. Its great. I also got the kit that hooks the Zune up to the TV. Yes, it was sweet. I'll try my Zune remote with my 360 later.

I HAD a Zune. I returned it two days later. I simply was not happy with it. I actually kind of like the design and wound up with a black unit.
I have to say that out of every thing, I was very happy with its actual menu system and performance. It was easy to navigate, it was attractive and it was quick.
But at the end of the day, I felt weird. I didn't like the software, for one. I could be wrong, but it appeared to transcode items you would send to it (certainly that's what the settings menu implies) and it would massively compress album art to the point that having a huge screen wound up being kind of detrimental.
Plus, you know, the extremely limited file format usage... the same reason I wasn't interest in an out-of-the-box iPod (with Rockbox it looks OK).
I wound up returning it and getting a Zen Vision:M, which I'm very happy with.

Zune owner here, but I don't have a remote so I won't be using this.
#4 (Josh): You can turn that off in the settings on your 360.

I got one (Brown FTW). It was a tough choice between this and the Zen, but I decided that with MS backing there would be a lot more accessories and mods.

love my zune. and i don't know what #7 is talking about, but my album art takes up the whole screen. which the zune also downloaded all my "unlicensed" song's album art automatically! this thing just rocks.
