Nice, a big 2 fingers up to the UK again, since we wont get halo until about 2 weeks after you americans get your grubby hands on it. Cheers, maybe we will get a game before you, wii play comes to mind, but its so unfair!! I'm going to have to sit and read all the stories about it and peoples views way before I get to play it, not to mention being called a noob because you have a 2 week 1-up on how the levels are laid out. GRRRR!

It looks like "Shook" and Awe. Are you sure this is called "Shock & Awe" and not "Shook & Awe."

As I said at Kotaku (who brought me here) this is a bad idea. This only rewards those that have gotten into the Beta and thus have prior intimate knowledge of the game's ins-and-outs. It should be at *least* a week after the release...or maybe that weekend after a Tuesday.

Games in Action is NOT associated with Bungie. We are independent. We have had contact with Bungie, and had them advertise our tourneys, but we do not associate with them when designing and running our tournaments.

Yes, we did think about the advantage beta players will have, but, since the tournament was in design before the beta was announced, we decided to keep going. It does ruin the whole who adjusts first thing, but, those who are in the beta will also have to adjust. Bungie WILL make changes to the game after the beta is taken away. Players in the beta will have to adjust to the changes Bungie makes, which may be harder to adjust to than those playing for the first time. It's like the adjustments made for Halo 2 Version 1.1. It took players a while to adjust, and it will be the same for Beta testers.

Also, yes, it is called Shock & Awe.

(The above message is the same one I posted at Kotaku, besided the little addition on the bottom.)
