There is plywood in the Star Wars universe?!

The engine looks fantastic, I really do like the A.I clinging on to the framework.

why is it that the star wars videogames have much better stories, characters, and themes than the movies?

Wow, this exclusive content that site recieved is amazing. No really, I totally haven't seen this before a couple of weeks ago in an issue of gameinformer with more art, pictures and a breakdown of the plot and direction lucusarts is going with this game and upcoming instalments, a magazine that I also might add isn't that well put together.

Nope, this is news to me.

Wow, you guys are stupid.

#2- you're saying Star Wars video games have better stories, themes and characters than the movies? I guess all you've seen is the prequels.

#4-xbox360fanboy.com actually does get some exclusive stuff. Just one example: this was the only game site that first had details on the new R6 content.

Anyway, these videos are badass.

Cool, this is the same engine that was originally demoed with the Indiana Jones game. If they can get that kind of interactivity running in realtime, it will be awesome.

Add it to some kind of sandbox game and the possibilities for shenanigans (and youtube vids) is endless. How big a chain of people can you get hanging off a skyscraper? :)

Keepo, I think those videos *are* real-time. Not sure, of course. But they seem like it.

"So...where's the game?"

Those clips are fairly old--they're from a big long "Inside LucasArts" doc that was on the old LucasArts Careers site. This was before the game was even formally announced, so that's why they're just tech demos.

That said, I'm extremely excited to see some actual content from the game. Fortunately, it seems like they have a great foundation already.

Well finally someone is starting to push the new systems to work as hard as they were made to work. I'm tired of games that pretty much look and work like the games for the earlier systems. When will developers start designing games that push the new systems to do what they were made to do. PLEASE NO MORE CROSS GENERATION GAMES....

Both those videos were very impressive.

But those roof beams in the frist vid looked like they were made of balsa wood.

The 2nd vid was very intrersting.

P.S.
I want the gun that shoots mini R2D2s too! :o)

I realize this is concept art, but why would Vader's apprentice be kicking Stormtrooper butt? Unless it's some sort of trial or test - would make for interesting gameplay..hmmm.

Looove the Imperial Captain girlie and the female Maul-ish Jedi (dual light 'sticks' ?)

MS should offer "Jar Jar encased in Rubber/Carbonite/Plywood- hurl R2D2 at him" as an XBLA title.
