Largest... post image... EVER. I mean really, the thing looks like a Microsoft advertisement. It's more vertical pixels than any poor fool on 800x600 could ever handle!

Regardless, as an avid Halo 1 and 2 junkie, I eagerly await the release of both the beta and the final release. I preordered the Legendary edition the very second my local GameStop would let me; last year it was actually very difficult to get a copy of Halo 2 if you didn't preorder. And of course, I will be there at midnight the night of release.

Halo is soooo overrated.

i was wondering how long it would be before you guys actually posted the story from my tip... and yes fall will be one major season for games: GTA, Halo 3, metal gear solid, super mario galaxy, and at least a few other first party nintendo games i cant think of right now

All things accounted for, the second half of this year looks to be capable of putting the whole of last year to shame. (At least in the console side of things, I personaly don't see any highly anticipated handheld titles coming)

MGS 4 is not coming out till 2008. Just watch. And then it will come to the 360 later. Like 6 months or later. Konami has to make their money somehow. I still can't find a Wii. Aaaaarrrrggghh!!!

Fall 2007, eh? Half-Life 2: Episode 2 is coming out on PC, PS3 and 360 around the same time. I wonder if they'll move their release date forward to avoid being overshadowed? I love my Half-Life, but if I could only buy one, Halo would win by a hair.

Hooray! Our daily Halo 3 news finally! It was getting late in the day and I was getting worried it wouldn't show!

Seriously though if this isn't turning into the single most overhyped game ever (and consequently, the single biggest disapointment ever) please tell me a more overhyped game than this. Ever.

Well it's just a good thing that one of the hundred or so XBOX FPS's was "good".

Saying Halo is Overated just doesn't work, it's more of a cultural phenomenon than anything else.

Never played the first two, and wont be playing this one.
