Today's most inspiring game video: the 1000 Mii March

More Miis than you can shake a stick at in this virtual onslaught of avatars. Would it be annoying or funny if we actually made sounds like that in real life if we walked ... nay, paraded around town? We can only imagine that it would get extremely boring after awhile. Plop, plop, plop.

No one knows what these Miis are marching for, but let us all hope that it's for a good cause. If these Miis turn evil, there will be no stopping them. Miis rampaging in the streets, wrist straps torn off left and right and being used to garrote people, mass hysteria.

And Joystiq, for one, welcome our new Mii overlords. We'd like to remind them as a trusted gaming website, we can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their plastic, shiny utopias.

How exactly do you get more Miis in the parade?
I've left my consle on, in sleep mode, and even on the parade screen for hours at a time and nobodies Miis ever pop on.

And yes I have an internet connection :P

U need to exchange your Wii number with a bunch of people and then their Miis will start randomly appearing on your Wii(If the mingle option is turned on). I've got about 60 in my parade so far, half from people I know and half from random people I exchanged #s with.

I've got 140 some odd Miis in my parade, and that includes 1 Storm Trooper, 1 Ackbar, 1 Jesus, 1 Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man, and 3 Hitlers (one Adolf, one Hitler, and one A. Hitler). It's on gentlemen.

Well, if each Wii can hold 100 Miis, and you can have 100 Friend/Wii Codes in your address book, then you're looking at 10,000 Miis in a parade, max.

@35: Your Wii Console number can be found on the first page of the address book. Go to the Message Center (where it tells your play time, etc. and click on Create Message.) Then the Address Book, then hit Minus. There's your Wii Console Number.

Hey everybody. I don't have any Wii friends at all since all my real friends are too poor and/or are unsuccessful at actually finding a Wii to buy. That said, I only have real-life Mii counterparts to share and a Guybrush Threepwood I made for giggles.
