I thought that yellow thing in the pic was a Bemani, but it turns out it's a vid game division. So what the heck IS that yellow, happy, and creepy thing? Is it even remotely related to Bemani?

And I thought DDR SuperNova was already out in arcades. Are they just further promoting and advertising it?

If you clicked the image, you would have found out what that is.

And if you actually read the post, you would have noticed the number "2" next to the word "Supernova."

Imagine that.

And still no decent sequels to last years Beatmania announced. C'mon, Konami. If you're going to bring Beatmania stateside, at least don't halfass it!

While that is certainly a start, Kevin, it's not the end. Arcades in my area are all but dead (shooters and fighting games only) so obviously finding a 14th style machine will be a multihour drive.

Still no PS2 sequel announced. My friends want to get into the game but the US mix sucks (a couple quality songs but overall, a fairly underwhelming introduction), Konami made it so that the ONLY way a second controller is acquired is by purchasing the bundle twice, and I'm the only guy I know that has an import console (and a copy of Happy Sky). So while I get to play all the time, the skill gap steadily increases between my friends and I so yeah, I said it. Konami is halfassing Beatmania.

Their procrastination in their US arm has lead to many legions of fans believing Guitar Hero was the first guitar game instead of Guitar Freaks, which was created in 1998. This same lame ass procrastination is the very same that's hurting Beatmanias ability to become mainstream.

Konami needs to quit test marketing and get off their ass to get people to play.
