Thrustmaster waggles out Wii charging stand and controller sleeves

Alright, so they're not the first peripheral company out the door with a stand / case / charger combo unit for the Wii -- that honor belongs to Nyko's $30 Wii recharge station -- but Thrustmaster does aim to be the cheapest. The $25 T-Charge NW provides a set of black silicone sleeves, one for the Wiimote and one for the oft-neglected nunchuk, and a stand that not only holds both of them, but charges via USB. Not interested in the charging functionality? Settle for the $15 T-Care NW stand which just holds the combo, and comes with the sleeves. Not feeling the stands at all? The silicons sleeves are sold solo for $10. Lastly, for the completists out there (you know who you are), get the T-Charge NW and the T-Care NW with accompanying sleeves all bundled together for $35.

Looks like Wii-Mote bondage gear...
Brandon @ Feb 19th 2007 2:18PM
Looks like a joystick option for a wiimote so you can play flying games with the whole joystick setup.

Wow, I didn't know they could mold inject pure ass.

Thrustmaster isn't a company that I would buy from, if only because I have people that look over my finances.

Grunge: hahaha!
sheppy @ Feb 19th 2007 2:27PM
Well, Grunge, considering a company name like Thrustmaster, you almost expect penis enlargement pills (incidently, should a female take them, what happens? Nothing, just like for men or does she become some hideous shemale with a tranformation sequence like in La Blue Girl or Bible Black... my mind wonders these things...), pornography, and personal massagers.
Not hideously malformed rubber gstrings for your controller. I like my Wiimote NOT looking like Voldo...

sheppy man that's just sick
... I personally thought of strap on dildos

Charges through usb eh?
How does the charge get into the battery pack? With an ugly hole in the back of the cover?
I dont see why we cant have a charging solution that utilises the existing jack in the bottom of the wiimote. This jack provides power to the nunchuck when it is attached, it stands to reason that power could be injected into the battery via the same opening.

HA! Crotchless panties for your controller!
MSaccarello @ Feb 19th 2007 3:23PM
if they're going to make a "holster" if you will, for the remote, can they at least make one that fits 2 or even 4 remotes all in one docking station? there are only 2 USB ports to begin with. i feel like they put most of their "thought" into making ass-less chaps for your remotes and no thought at all into what i believe is more coveted, and far more practical: a charging station.
those wiimotes run out of juice pretty quickly. also, if your remotes can be stored safely upright in something like this, you don't really need these wiicondoms because they won't be lying around on a dirty table/floor/etc getting scratched up.
i see why they call themselves Thrustmaster.
iconmaster @ Feb 19th 2007 3:23PM
Apparently, the batteries don't even reside in the controller while being charged. It's just an ordinary AA charger with a spot to hold your remote. :\
Neon Jebus @ Feb 19th 2007 3:33PM
If it was more along the lines of stitched black leather or white leather I would be alright with the holders. Perhaps Coach will offer something up!
As for the sleeves...I think sheepy nailed that one on the head!

@ sheppy
no, her body creates the shemale hormone "Testostrogen," then she has that "Bible Black"-esque transformation across a longer period of time
Mike @ Feb 19th 2007 5:03PM
It charges only one making it not cheaper than the dual charging Nyko.

USB Cells, bitches! http://usbcell.com
I got them for my Wii remotes and they rock. I never have to buy new batteries now and recharging them is a snap.

I hope it can hold my selotape too! It looks like a tape dispenser!
