Downloadable content is allowed to add up to 12 achievements, assuming it's an addition to the game. This puts any downloadable content on par with a Live Arcade game, which has a limit of 12 also.

Something like that. I read it.

I wonder if there can be to many achievements that it can become invasive, or having to many achievements will drown out the feel good feeling of obtaining them?

How are you "setting the record straight"? You haven't definitively said what the actual limit is and provided a source; you've only pointed out two conflicting reports.

Maybe because Aaron Greenberg works for Microsoft and is part of the PR team, ie. Gamerscoreblog? Seems far more credible source than a developer to me. If that doesn't feel official enough for you, Chappy, we could always ask Bill Gates. I'm sure he knows.
