Do you enjoy basketball? Do the names Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, or Dikembe Mutumbo mean anything to you, or hold some sway in your thoughts and opinions? Funny story, once in middle school, I got a technical foul in a basketball game for wagging my finger at an opposing player after stuffing his shot, akin to "old school" Mutumbo. It was awesome. What were we talking about? Oh... well, if these players mean something to you, they also mean something to Sony -- they've all been spotted playing and supporting the gaming giant. They've also been caught by VH1 Game Break in their shining gaming moments.Kobe Bryant was spotted playing as himself in NBA '07 and was gushing at the realism and attention to detail the game received. LeBron James is a surprisingly serious gamer, playing for up to six hours a day when not on the court. Mutumbo, well, sucks at MotorStorm. Luckily, his kids are a great help and bolster his offroading skills.
Thank goodness for the PlayStation Parlor! These sports celebs and multiple other non-athletic celebrities stopped by and played Sony's latest and greatest. Were they happy? Hell, yes, since a good number of people were given these specially etched PS3's denoting the fantastic adventure.
[Thanks a lot, Harold!]
