Actually, it looks better in motion than it did in the stills.

Very smooth animation, and I'm pretty sure it must be running on the Prince of Persia engine.

Unfortunately, didn't they say this was going to be single player only? What's the point of a Ninja Turtles game without online coop?

"Looks like a button masher to me"

Technically so were all of the GOOD TMNT games (arcade game, TMNT3, TMNT IV: Turtles in Time), so that's not bad.

Call me when they release TMNT 2: The Arcade game for XBLA. That is a CLASSIC that would transfer over wonderfully.

I'm hoping for this, but I'm not sure how it will be handled. Konami had the rights for the new show, Ubisoft apparently has rights for the movie... it makes me wonder who technically owns the rights to release the old titles due to licensing issues.

TMNT2 was certainly great and I'd love to see it. I'm even more interested in a Live version of the arcade TMNT4, personally... and since this is Konami, they should look into The Simpsons Arcade Game too.

Really, if they want to make up for their lackluster 360 support thus far, all they really need to do is do a bunch of beat 'em up arcade ports.

Well, and work with Lucasarts to get a Live version of Zombies Ate My Neighbors. My number one biggest wish.

Cool. That helicopter/nunchuck move was retarded though.

Ok, this looks like Prince of Persia with Turtles?? I loved the arcade games but don't look forward to solve pushing and jumping puzzles with Turtles. They should have made the game appeal to a younger audience and made it a little more arcadey. And a turtle game that's not co-op with at least 2 players(ideally 4) is unacceptable.

I'll play the demo and maybe rent it, when I want some alone time.

i hope this game can actually surpass *any* of the NES or SNES games... come on make a good action/hack n slash rpg out of these games already a la baldurs gate 2 for ps2.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: the whole concept is absurd"

WTF? ... and every single other video game/cartoon premise isn't ?...? Last time I looked in an encyclopedia, a Locust was a bug that makes an annoying noise and leaves brown exoskeletons on trees. Yet in GOW a locust is something that can talk and and shoot guns at you. Look at other games ... Katamari Damacy. LocoRoco. Viva Pinata. Even old games like super mario ... eating a mushroom doubles you in size, and eating flowers make you shoot fireballs. There aren't too many games that are based on real world concepts. I could go on for hours ... but please don't dis TMNT.
